"Timeline on Von Bell"
after seeing some more comments that his brother tweeted i HIGHLY doubt he commits to the bucks.
These aren't exact quotes im just putting what i remember, ( i dont have twitter )
He basically said Vonn had NO fun, --- he gonna be working hard, gotta have fun to....Vbell is upset right now cause he is having no fun#buckeyenation.......once again buckeyenation loses points on nightlife. and a couple more things downing the nightlife and having no fun.

Yeah, cuz "night life" to an 18 year old NFL wannabe is going to be the end-all, be-all of their existence. If that's what he wants, maybe he's got his priorities out of whack.
But it sounds to me like maybe his brother didn't have any fun.
If nightlife is his determining criteria then he can go elsewhere.
Well, he has already left Columbus. Didn't even stay for the basketball game. Also sounding like Gibson is not gonna be a part of this class as well. Staff has contacted James Clark a 4-star WR out of Florida, either last night or this morning.
Worried about nightlife? Eh. If true, go elsewhere.
None of this was said by Bell himself. So we shouldn't rush to judgement. Things may not be as they appear. With that said, things don't look good for us to get Bell.
"Buckeye born and bred, a Buckeye 'til I'm dead"
I thought he was as well. Not sure as to what the deal is but if they take Corey Smiths commitment, and Hinton is on the phone with another WR, sounds like Gibson is out. In a recent interview Gibson said his grades are good to go. So sounds as if his test scores might not be where OSU admissions want them at.
possible ncaa clearinghouse issues
"Jayme Thompson @JaymeBUCKS
Ok now I'm starting to get annoyed if he doesn't wanna come here DON'T COME #flatout

Scott Boyd @katzfan71

@JaymeBUCKS That bout Bell bro?
Jayme Thompson @JaymeBUCKS
@katzfan71 yessir lol"
FWIW. I'd think if anyone has a sense of the situation, it'd be Jayme Thompson. I'm not Scott Boyd, nor did I contact Jayme--just putting that out there haha. Alex at 11w says that he is hearing "troubling things," not sure what that is exactly.

Ugh, ok so much for Bell...
I think we all knew Bell was a long shot. If he doesn't want to come, at least we know the staff gave it their best shot.
Dinner with Urban Meyer and Archie Griffin? How many Buckeye--no, scratch that--how many football fans would give their left nut for that?
Absolutely. I still wish they would have made a run for Max Redfield when he showed interest in OSU (I liked him as much as Bell, personally), but have to assume that they knew something we don't. Felt the same way about Sebastian LaRue (they cancelled his Nov 24th visit). It is what it is.
I'm not that fond of anyone that they're still on (not that Bell or Quick are necessarily 100% over), kind of hope they might consider stashing 2 or 3 scholarships for what's projected to be a smaller class next year.
I hear you. I'd say that if Bell doesn't commit, we get a WR (Gibson, Elder, or maybe James Clark, who apparently we're recruiting out of Florida) and an OL, and then bank any scholarships leftover and give them to deserving senior walk-ons so that we have those scholarships to give to a 2014 next year.
Or "safety" valve for not getting Bell is Burrows.
i think people are slighting our recruits we already have with this bell talk. burrows and thompson are both going to be damn good safeties (im assuming burrows gets moved to safety eventually).
agree, those guys are studs in their right.
Personally, I hope he doesn't come here. We have a good thing going here, this kind of kid could bring problems here. I know all the players party, but come on man. You had dinner with Archie and Urban on the house. If that's "not good enough" go to USC or something and go 7-5

Can you imagine gettin to hang and have dinner with Coach Urb and Archie?
WOW!! I would have committed about 20 secs into the......"Hi son my name is Archie!"
It would have been a short night/ waiting for the commitment!!!
East Coast Player Known for Knocking Fools Out One At A Time!

agreed. it is what it is. He either wants to be a Buckeye or doesn't.
He needs us more than we need him right now. Ohio State could turn him into a 1st round pick down the road - cough Donte Whitner cough.
Eric Berry was good in his own right, I get it.
MEMO TO FICKELL: DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS!
Right here! This is it. Totally not interested anymore. Just the thing we need. Go away if that is what you want.
You guys need to chill.....If you read ALL of his brothers tweets, and the conversations within them, he wasn't knocking OSU. He spoke very positively in several of his tweets, and also stated that Vonn is quiet, but he's not and he talks all the time and is just playin....He posted pics of Vonn during the visit, he said after eating steak for the 2nd night that he "might have to move up here too", said "OSU coaches got my parents believin in what their doing in BuckeyeCountry"..... Yeah, boy, sounds like no shot and had a terrible time.....
So, by all of you now saying Vonn is going to be a "cancer" or trouble to the team, you don't want him here, he's got NCAA clearinghouse issues should feel pretty stupid.
It's always the same, if a kid comes here he's the greatest and welcome, if you think for one second he may not come here you turn on him like wolves.
