OSU wins the f'en Big Ten Tournament and they don't show any of the post game celebration or net cutting!
Instead they spend 4 mins with cream talking about IU who, lost to a number 20 team.
Yes, I'm pissed about it!
fuck indy and the cheesheads, Big 10 champions!
you can pay the piper, but you can not buy his soul.
Yes! Big Ten Champs.... Bbbaabbbyyyy!
Finally went back for an interview with Thad and DT.
You have to love DT. Great smile, very humble.... Hope he has a great Tourney run.
That was bizarre interviewing Crean right after the game.
CBS, ESPN, and all the advertisers, meaning all the revenue dollars, are lining up for Indiana to be the #1 seed. You can't stop the money wheel from turning.
Well, IU blew it when they lost to Wisconsin yesterday. Win the BIG tourney and they might of been the overall #1.
Yeah I could give a rats ass what Crean and the others have to say. CBS blew that one.
Speaking of #1 seeds, I am not saying we deserved to be a #1 but I would like to hear the justification for Indiana and Gonzaga, a team who lost to the only two decent teams they played all year. Indiana self destructed the last few weeks and should have lost their credibility as a #1.
You can have Kellogg ..I'm ashamed to say he's a buckeye after seeing NO FOUL AGAIN ON THE NECK HOOK... He has went anti OSU too many times for me and I really don't care for his worn out observations. The Indiana coach ( it's all about me Crean ) after the game was STRANGE and boring..

As long as CBS doesn't resurrect the horrible "bird cam" for the tournament I can live with them not showing the post game celebration. They broke the bloody thing out for one of our offensive series today and a couple times against Mich St. on Saturday. The thing completely sucks and disorients the viewer.
The big ten tournament is rather irrelevant. Really all the power conference tournaments are pointless. They don't serve any purpose other than making money. Granted i would prefer that we win the tournament but its not really a big deal.
love kellogg put him with Gus johnson......thats fun bb
Anythings better than having to listen to Jim Jackson tell me how to play basketball.
Listening to Charles Barkley talk college basketball was enough--esp when he said that both the Pac-12 and Mountain West are better than the B1G.
Fortunately Steve Smith of Michigan State was on the same panel to bring some perspective to the debate. Rex Chapman says the B1G is overrated and that the Big East is the best conference. That's debatable which is why the B1G needs to make up for not having won a title in 13 years!
And no one is more overdue for one than we are at 53 years vs 26 for IU and 24 for Michigan.
Bottom line is we want to be called the best conference and/or team during the early morning hours of the first Tuesday in April.
Thats because barkley and chapman are sec guys and they will never give the b10 credit....barkley has never and chapman is new...
I could give a BIG rats ass less who does the game as long as it isn't "DIAPER DAAANDY BAAABY". I refuse to watch him except when tOSU plays and only then with the TV on mute.
I would have never have guessed that person was Rex Chapman.....
Clark Kellogg is a great basketball commentator! He and Nance make a great team. I have no problem how he calls OSU games in victory and defeat.
agree, he's one of the better ones.
TOSU and Mich St. have both done pretty well in the NCAA's recently, but nobody else has done much. Having two BIG schools in the final four and the champion is what would prove the BIG is, indeed, the best conference this season. This should be achievable between Indiana, TOSU, Mich St., Michigan, and Wisconsin.
If we can't accomplish that, then it is logical to conclude that the conference is/was over-rated this season.
To further the point, while Illinois or Minnesota aren't Final Four caliber, them winning a game or two and upsetting higher seeds isn't unreasonable if the conference is as good as advertised.
Charles Barkley makes one wonder if somewhere a village is missing their idiot! Why a network would have somone on the air like that is a shame......he is not funny.......
Because like it or not, the fact still remains that no team from this conference has won a national title since 2000. And that's with four others making it to the championship game and losing on each outing (Indiana in 2002, Illinois in 2005, Ohio State in 2007 and Michigan State again in 2009).
And in that span the Big East has won three (Syracuse in 2003, UCONN in 2004 and 2011), the $EC, two (Florida back to back in 2006 and 2007), the ACC, five (Duke in 2001 and 2010, Maryland in 2002 and UNC in 2005 and 2009). And the Big 12-- one with Kansas in 2008.
This means that a team from each of the other major conferences has won at least once with at least one team from three out of the other four winning multiple titles--most at the expense of the B1G.
In total a B1G school has been represented in title games a total of eight times in the past 25 years winning only twice (Michigan and Michigan State). Furthermore if we go slightly beyond that--just over 30, we'll see that IU won twice ('81 and '87) and Michigan in '89--Jim Delany's first official year as conference commissioner. A total of three compared to the ACC's two (UNC in '82 and NC State in '83), the Big East's two (Georgetown in '84, Villanova in '85--Louisville's two in '80 and '86 by the way don't count since it took place about two decades before they officially joined this conference) and Kansas winning in '88 for the Big 12's one and only. So what's my point? That in a decade--the '80s, when the Big East reigned supreme and the ACC was formidable, we still managed to do a better job of winning titles than we've done in either the 1990s or 2000s:a much more wide open era when there arguably wasn't a singular dominant conference or team so to speak.
So for fat boy Barkley to say that the Pac-12, a conference, which hasn't won a national title in over 15 years is the best is indeed ludicrous. Not only that but the fact that the only historic, legendary program there is UCLA with Arizona a distant second. Neither of whom have shown any recent signs of winning again. And the Mountain West? I don't even need to engage that one.
The problem is that in BIG play, the refs let them play. Get into the tourney and then the fouls come. Without a deep bench, no BiG will win.
That is worth an up vote!
why is a NBA guy doing college bb....he really shows his lack of knowledge with every statement
You forgot UK from last year bro. That gives the SEC 3 more than the B1G between 2001 and present day.
