Had another helluva game. Craft and the boys can tell you about it. They watched the whole game.
I guess Tuesday is my drinking night.....
As much as i B*tch at home about Thomas i would hate to see our record without him. Another night of A+ defense by Craft.
True on both. Just think how much better defensively the whole team would be if Thomas didn't have to do it all at the other end......I would just like to see offensive effort. I am sick of looking at 0 for 3 on the field goals column on 70 percent of the rest of the roster. I mean.....Fucking try!!!! It's like watching a batter strike out looking at three straight fastballs down the middle...
lol! i like the baseball analogy.
I thought Craft had a pretty good offensive day today. Plus Ross hitting some big 3's in the 2nd half was good to see.
Amir on the other hand is terrible. Why waste minutes on him, when you can put McDonlad in there and rotate Rav. Hell split the time 3 ways evenly. How can you be 6'11" and get your block shot at the rim.
I don't think there is much shame in getting blocked by a schools all time blocks leader. Amir brought some intensity last night and that was good to see.
i know what a season burke is having for michigan, but it's had to make a case for league mvp for anyone but deshaun
Not just that but player of the year.
ehh i dont know about that. mclemore at kansas has been the player of the year in my opinion. but most valuable to his teams success in the entire country yeah you're probably right
Thomas guarded Evans and held him to 2 pts.,....nuff said,he played all 40 minutes and was white hot in that 15-0 run in the 2nd half...can anybody say top 5 draft pick, maybe national player of the year?...Trey Burke is great ,but he touches the ball 3 times as much as Thomas...total package,he will flourish in the NBA!
let's calm down, he's not even projected as a first round draft pick right now. that may change but he still doesnt have a true position in the nba.
Right now, this Buckeye team is kind of hard to prepare for by other B10 coaches......long, lean, athletic, on any one night, Smith, Ross, Thompson can give you 15-20 pts.....Craft is tough as nails and makes an opponets guards look foolish many times..Scott and Craft together make a nice quick combo.....the post position is barley getting by but Williams is coming along and Ravenal can be Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde at times, but is adequate....and of course Thomas is the real deal and a huge nightmare for opposing teams to guard...a true All American and NBA certain grab and star......this team is making progress and coming along...they are very young...I believe they are going to surprise some people in February and March!
Maybe if Ross and Smith can be more consistent scoring threats and if Ross can play D and hold onto the ball(how is this hard?). The post players need to find a a way to be somewhat of a threat. I really see this team bouncing early due to only having 1 consistent scorer and very iffy post play. This team will have to play out of their minds defensively and make some shots they normally wouldn't if they want to be good teams in the big dance.
Not sure what game you were watching but in addition to Thomas Craft played his ass off on both ends and I believe scored 15.

DT is the man but it is yet another game where he played 40 minutes.......although it was probably pretty strategic against PSU to NOT play him so much. I wonder if Matta will take the same approache against Nebraska Saturday.
If we are in control of the game i would expect Matta to rest Thomas......next two games will be critical.
I just do not want him to get worn down playing so many minutes every game. That could end up impacting his offensive output late Feb and into March.
