At this point, Kenny Guiton's a Heisman candidate because no one knows what the future holds in store for anyone.
With Johnny Manziel, AJ McCarron, Jadeveon Clowney, Aaron Murray, Teddy Bridgewater, Braxton Miller, Marcus Mariota, Tajh Boyd, KaDeem Carey, Marqise Lee, and Jordan Lynch all back, Michigan would need to go 11-1 and win the B1G CCG for Gardner to have a shot .
He might help Roby win the Heisman next year and that would be about it.
Yeah, he'd need to make exponential leaps & bounds to be a Heisman candidate. From what I've seen, he's a poor man's T. Pryor and Pryor never won it, so time will tell.

How firm thy friendship O-HI-O
Anything is possible, but I think this is highly unlikely...though, I guess, no more unlikely than a 1st year RS Freshman winning it
Wait wait wait.......
No no no seriously.....
omg man. That was so funny. Gardner for hiesman. Might as well say my gym shorts for heisman. They have about the same chance of winning it.
"The only thing That Team Up North will be tasting this year is the salty tears of defeat" - UFM
that's a really bad joke..
Too logical, too obvious, too simple, therefore unacceptable to this board...
Has there ever been a Heisman winner on..........a FIVE loss team?
Not sure, but sumthin' tells me this is a bunch of whooey put forth by desperate writers looking to
find a few readers!!
East Coast Player Known for Knocking Fools Out One At A Time!
tebow..but he had Jesus posses his body
I knew God was a gator fan..& never a Notre Dame fan..
saw how God's team got forsaken in the BCS title..
*Religious posters, please don't jump on this telling me how God takes interest in football..thank you..
Gardner will win the September Heisman (of which Michigan has many winners) but then will disappear when they have to play big boy teams. Why don't they nominate Kalis for the trash-talking Heisman?
What kills me about a freshman winning it, nobody paid crap attention to the Houston QB who put up the same numbers. The coach's system makes a lot of people look good. People forget A and M lost twice this year.
WTF! He has a good of chance as Shoelace did last year and his went down the toilet in the first offensive set of downs against Alabama.
Those Who Stay Will Be Championshipless
Putz can't find his ass with both hands and he's going to win a Heisman. LMAO
Sorry but you're wrong on that about Case Keenum at Houston from 07-11.... Dude set the record for most TD passes at 139 and all of ESPN gave him a lovefest up and through his final game vs Penn state in that Bowl game last year..but I will agree, he didn't get it as early as he deserved it though so +1 you.
Denard R. was also a Heisman contenders, look how well that played out!
