Guess that's one way to get the "black stripe" removed...
How firm thy friendship O-HI-O
Glad to hear that. I also hear murder is worse than rape so let's make rape legal. Key word on smoking pot is "ILLEGAL".
It's all about Big Brother getting deeper and deeper into your life. Orwell baby....
It has to be Luke Roberts, he's not fooling me with those bible verses! Lol
I'm cool with whoever it is but it has to be a repeat offender. There is protocol when it comes to drug abuse. Counseling, drug awareness programs etc. Trust me the Honey Badger didn't get kicked out for smoking pot one time. There was a process. So don't be surprised if he failed a test when he reported to camp and was put on notice.
geez....relax.....have a hit
Smoking marijuana is harmless and it has no effect on student athletes in the class room or performance on the field unless they are doing it right before class/practice. It has various medicinal properties and is much healthier than drinking. It should be legal. That being said, it's not and if you are representing the Ohio State University, you need to be following the rules. We are on probation, and although there is no such thing as a "clean program" tOSU should be doing their best to come damn near close.
I smoke nearly everyday. It does not affect my life as a student, and nor my physical well being. However it is still illegal. And until it isn't, members on our football team should not be using.
Why Southward? I haven't heard his name mentioned once, good or bad. He was, technically, Urban's first recruit, committing the day before Urban was announced as HC, attended a high school from which Urban recruited 6 kids in one year to Florida, and recruited by Stan Drayton, who had to know the score and had Urban's go-ahead to accept his commitment.
Southward left the team this week.
I don't know if this is true or not, but I was told marijuana is one of the most, if not the most, addictive drug there is.
Where did you see that?
He's still on the official roster dated 10/1/12, while Ty Williams isn't.

It's impossible to know if any of these tweets were related, much less all related to OSU. They could have been about girls, picking a major, a lot of things.

1 Oct Ricquan Southward @HeCrazyMan: I wish my life wasn't so complicated
1 Oct Ricquan Southward @HeCrazyMan: I'm happy wit my decision. So Idgaf u dnt
1 Oct Ricquan Southward @HeCrazyMan: It's major moves baby. You gotta get wit it or get lost
1 Oct Ricquan Southward @HeCrazyMan: Wen one door closes, another 1 opens
26 Sep Ricquan Southward @HeCrazyMan I can only fake a smile for so long
I'm not fluent in Twitterspeak. Still lost.
Puhleeze...gimme a break with that.
Near the top of the list is the totally accepted killer...tobacco. It's been found recently that nicotine is as addictive as heroine. If people want to get upset about something everyone should start here. "it's legal" is a crock. It destroys lives and families and is legal because it delivers tax revenue.
The federal government is also addicted to tobacco because it made $7 BILLION off of tobacco taxes, the states made $19 BILLION, there's your reason it's legal. So if you want to know what's the most addictive drug...there you have it.
Me neither, which is why I prefaced it by saying he could be talking about anything. Still, at the risk of reading between the lines, it suggests that something was going on in his life on Monday but since I posted that a few minutes ago, a new tweet came over from a friend of his from Lakeland asking if he was coming home for Christmas. If he'd left the team, I'd assume a) his friends would know that, b) he'd already be home, and c) there'd be a ton of tweets from his friends and followers offering him encouragement.
umm no. did your mom tell you that? my mom told me my face would stay stuck when I made an ugly face and that I would go blind watching the TV too close.....those MOMS!!!!!
hahahaha whoever told you that did that to scare you.. marijuana isnt even in the top 30 in terms of addictive
But it can give you an awful case of the Munchies.
Acid, its only $5.00 a hit, and its friggin unbe-mazing.
I agree with a lot of you are saying, but to say it is not addictive is ignorant. You're making it sound like there is no problems associated with it or to be harmless without having a serious effect on people who do it and those who who are innocent

Not to mention the high potential for an individual like this to become a locker room cancer. Disgruntled because they are not producing so they are not get playing time so they start to piss and moan (we all know kids now a days are not responsible for their own actions) about everything. I say freshman or not ZERO tolerance. They get caught on the bud, they land on their butt on 71 headed back to where ever they came from.
Right on Indy 100%. Big Brother is getting bigger and worse every day. They can allgo to hell
Nobody cares, bottom line is illegal.. I love stoner chicks though, the easiest to get into, and u can tell they smoke.. the line is hey we should hit one up..then you are in the sack.
Too logical, too obvious, too simple, therefore unacceptable to this board...
Southward is gone. The guy who heard and posted on 11w finally named him.
His name was taken off the roster on Bucknuts Scholarship Count link earlier today. Wood's, too.
Good price, gotta move back to OH, we're getting ripped off here in New England
