ND vs Bama .. does anyone believe they are going to win the same way we won in 2002? Honestly, I hate that comparison. But no one is giving them a chance, except maybe their fan base and Dr.lou. We know they can stop the run, but they haven't met Eddie Lacy & Yeldon ( reminds me of clarett).
But does anyone believe they can rise to the occasion and kill this SEC winning streak & bring the NORTH some glory? or they will get annihilated by BAMA.
Keep in mind Back to Back is very hard, I look foward to a classic game like USC & Texas in 05.
Am rooting for the underdog. College football needs this, or else we will have to hear about SEC , SEC again.. especially those who live in SEC country know what am talking about, heck they think football was invented down here.
So what are your predictions ?

Too logical, too obvious, too simple, therefore unacceptable to this board...
I guess I'm rooting for ND. Even tho it would ruin us being the only undefeated team. I just can't root for Bama. Although I think Bama wins it anyways.
Two phrases I never thought I'd utter haha.
Heart says Irish, head says Tide. I can't stomach another SEC BCS win, but clearly Alabama is the favorite.
I really think ND's run defense is stronger than Georgia's and I can't really see them putting up 350 on the ground. However, Alabama has a veteran QB and experience, whereas the Irish has Golson who is a redshirt freshman.
I think it will be a good game to watch, but 'Bama by 10.
Kinda like when scUM and ND play I route for a natural disaster.
“The only thing they can get me for is running a funeral parlor without a license.”
Yeah, I'm kind of pulling for some Tornadic activity......
The one thing an Alabama win might do is divert the discussion from one conference's dominance to one team's dominance. This would be their 3rd title in four years so it's not as if the rest of the SEC is necessarily keeping up with the Tide, either. But I doubt it will shift that way since the counter argument is that only SEC teams seem capable of beating each other.
Still, I'll be pulling for divine intervention and a Notre Dame win. And that's as an Alabama grad. And that's because I'm tired on the SEC.
I couldn't stomach another Tide natty. Go Irish.
Roll Tide for me.
Simply can't stand any and all things ND. From their loud mouthed leprechaun hot headed coach, to their obnoxious, repulsive, self serving fans.
There are hoodies rejoicing everywhere, since they've been freed front their closet confinement.
Although, come to think of it, there was actually a couple in Columbus I sat near a Max and Erma's after THE GAME, last weekend, who were oddly enough, Alabama fans.
The husband was alright, but the wife could have easily been Honey Boo-Boo's aunt! Her gut was bigger than mine, only I'm a little more reserved about showing it off....
"Any board that would ban 3yds is worthless"
I actually prefer Alabama from an upper midwest recruiting perspective... Kelly is clawing his way back in on key recruits, so I prefer a smackdown and if we are lucky, watch a Brian Kelly 1st class "come-apart" after some play or call which he did not agree with, further souring recruits and their families.
How firm thy friendship O-HI-O
3yds, you are the undisputed champion of yuletide spirit
Wait wait wait!!!!
Where's the SEC pride????? C'mon, c'mon.....S.......E........C.......S...E...C.....S-E-C!!!!!!

i will never ever ever ever root for notre dame and i want to be the only undefeated team in the country. roll tide. the sec talk cant get any worse and i can live it with it unlike some. notre dame being back talk would be 1 zillion times worse
I will not pull for ND, period, they could be playing the Taliban.
I guess one good thing that could come out of an Alabama win would be an NFL team throwing the works at Saban. As long as he is there, Bama is going to win 4 of every 10 Champs, minimum....
If only egg nog were served at Gentlemen's Clubs....
Ya what the fuck? All of the conference love crap and a Florida guy going against the Bama?? Just kidding tho. The wife is a gator and even she can't stomach another one.
All depends how often you come in..just like your favorite bar, if you are there often enough, what you like will always be available....or so I've been told
1A. Notre Dame
~It goes without saying~
I am rooting for a solar flare to strike just a little bit of the area, and have ESPN lose it's feed. Then we can't watch the game, and ESPN will lose all it's viewing rankings. Then it won't matter who wins or loses, because no one except people that are there will know what happens.
I don't want either team to win. If I had to choose, I'll take Alabama. I want the Buckeyes to be the only undefeated team in the country this year. And anyway, Urban and the Buckeyes are going to break SEC stranglehold on the championship in the near future.
Patrick : "What do you think about the Ohio State hire?" Hoke: "Not...not good"
ND all the way!
The good thing for ND and even Texas before them is that both have all-time winning records against the Tide while we don't. That means that even if they lost, they could always say, "well at least they don't own us." ND and Texas both are among the top five all-time winningest programs along with us of course. Alabama is somewhere around #6 I believe.
All the top five winningest programs: Michigan, Texas, ND and I believe Nebraska as well, have winning records vs the Tide while we are 0-3 against them all time. I hope we get our chance eventually to best them 3 times just to even it up but we won't this year.
In the meantime it's about breaking the $EC streak. It's not the same when it's an LSU or some other program outside of the northeast or midwest. If it can't be us or another B1G team, then ND will suffice.
This streak must be broken ASAP otherwise that Monday night/early Tuesday morning will be one long night of "eshECee, eshECee" chants as the Irish take the walk of shame up the ramp.
Its going to be a tough, hard hitting, pounding football game.
I'm going with ND. I've watching Bama play four times. The first game I thought, , "...this team is unbeatable." The game with LSU changed my mind. I think LSU is overrated and they should have beaten Bama that day. A&M followed and Georgia was next. They are far from a perfect team and can be beaten again. ND's defense is under-appreciated and believe will give Bama fits.
