"I hate that son of a bitch so bad. How the fuck can you defend a defender that blatantly tackles a QB 2 yards out of bounds. Fucking hate that SOB. Down vote me all you want.
FUCK THAT PIECE OF DOG SHIT "
Gooood goooood, let the hate flow through you.
LOL, don't even defend your view by using the beef with Pryor because their was more stuff behind the scenes that Pryor was doing that trust me Herbie knew. He was close to the program and Pryor showed his true self in the end.
JT and his beef-JIm Tressel offense sucked and Hebie said he would not send his kid to play in JT offense and I don't blame him (I said it sucked for years and it did).
He was not a good QB but no reason to hold that against him, neither was Jessie Palmer
this wins for ignorance.....
Him being a good or bad QB has nothing to do with his ability as an announcer. He is making 7 figures, emmy award winner and the face of ESPN's college football coverage. Seems to me he has done quite well for a QB that sucked. Again, his ability as a QB is not a facotr is his broadcasting ability. I think most of us would agree that Joe Montana is one of the greatest QBs of all time. Did you guys see how he did as a braodcaster with NBC.....terrible. Do you see Magic Johnson currently with his role on ESPN...terrible. Both were great players, but that means nothing in broadcasting.
And Erin Andrews didn't leave ESPn because of an affair with Herbie (there was no affair). She left because she got more money and a promotion with FOX. ESPN was going to give her a slight pay increase, but she would be doing the same thing with them. FOX gave her a bigger role.
Lesson here is not to make things up to support your flawed narrative. If you want to know who at ESON is having an affair then send me a message in my inbox, but don't going making things up because you hate a guy for no reason.
By the way, did you graduate from OSU and do you donate and help collect tens of thousands of dollars for the school....I bet you dont. herbie did and does.
I'm sure an affair is the only possible reason this could happen.
I just don't get all the hate on Herbstreit? The guy loves OSU look no further than when you see his kids on Gameday, completely decked out in OSU gear. The guy's takes on televison are usually based around fact and he is awesome as a color commentator. He did say the tackle out of bounds wasn't malicious (which it wasn't btw) he explaind why it was a penalty though.
Also didn't he leave Columbus because of some of the crazy fans harrassing him? Can you blame him for that? I wouldn't see how an affair with Erin Andrews would even make him leave Columbus anyways.
I did not agree with his vote but other then that he seems fair.
From what I understand it was more about what he kids were going through being harassed and I don't blame him one bit.
I dont give a shit about Herbies comments about the hit out of bounds, he should have just keep his mouth shut, but oh well. What pisses me off is when earlier this year I was watching an SEC game that Herbie was doing and the LB came off the end and sacked the QB. Herbies says "That was an SEC sack!" It was a sack Herbie, not an SEC sack. We get it, the SEC is on top right now, you dont have to suck them off every time there is a good play.
You know this to be true....no doubt in your mind?
