From what I understand game day there is pretty ridiculous!
Their fans are pretty into it and championships aside...they have a lot of tradition.
My niece went to Clemson so I've heard a lot about it from her.....
I mean it's still not tOSU....but if you're from that region or South Carolina or nearby...I could see the draw to Clemson being pretty high.
Christ almighty dude! Now have I offended you about Clemson or something...LOL? It's just a simple question because personally, I don't see it for that school. I could give two shits about what Clemson's record really is. When did they last win anything at all of significance....1980 or something like that? The 8-4 is nothing more than a passing comment for that simple reason.

Exactly! Like anywhere else. "IF" you are from that region. I see where this kid is from Florida, so I guess I can see where the attraction to SC could be. I also understand about the game day atmosphere, but I just don't see the consistent, seemingly yearly national hype (IMHO) for Clemson. I said 1980 in my reply to Iowa, but it was actually 1981 they won the NC I believe. They've been to ONE BCS Bowl in the history of that format and had WVU drop 70 on them. If that had been OSU, every hack in the country would have written a piece about how bad our program really was. Clemson does have colorful uniforms and a good ol' boy coach named "Dabo" though. Did he stay at a Holiday Inn Express?

Iowa: I'm not attempting to start a stupid debate over the past greatness of the Clemson Football program, but here is just a point. I had a few extra moments this morning and you REALLY got me thinking about my 8-4 comment. I just went to the big board and counted up Clemson's w/l record since 1980. I didn't have the time to double check the figures, but if I counted correctly, it's 262 up, & 128 down. Divided by 33 seasons that comes out to 7.9 wins per year & 3.9 losses. I honestly just threw the 8-4 out there in my earlier post.
Watch the play starting at 1:15. It reminds me of Ted Ginn vs. Oklahoma St.
I stand corrected: you are no longer misinformed or ignorant. Nice work to prove your point.
+1 for doing it.
His whole tape reminds me of Teddy G.
Thanks man! It got me thinking, damn what's the powerball jackpot? If I could just guess that.................
I hope to hell this kid comes here but I'm definitely not going to get my hopes up!!
He definitely is Teddy Ballgame like.....his stride is damn near identical. He's a long strider and man when he hits some space he has that extra gear and gets complete separation.
This kid will be pretty special I think wherever he lands....
would be nice........

WR James Clark texted me "It was great. I loved it" about his official visit to Ohio State. Hasn't said what decision plans are, though.
Announcing on signing day...
"Buckeye born and bred, a Buckeye 'til I'm dead"
He looks pretty fast and skilled to me, here's another youtube -
i think he visits florida next week.............in the end i think it will be between us and them, they show 5 wr commits already for this class so maybe depth will play into our favor
No doubt about it however I think that a lot of these kids don't see TOSU as a hip and cool destination. Clemson, UF, U$C and even Alabama have that cool factor going.
Outside of U$C I don't see how anyone can see those country, hick towns as being anything cool.
We've got to do a better job of marketing not just the school but this city as well.
so at least one of the "experts" here (shurburtt) says Clark to OSU............
Prospect- James Clark, WR, New Smyrna Beach (Fla.)
Announcement- 9 a.m. Wednesday
Quick Take- he 5-foot-10.5, 170-pounder will pick from the Buckeyes and Gators with the in state power having had the last word over the weekend.
Projection- Florida (Hamilton), Ohio State (Shurburtt)
Clark is the one I am least certain on. So it sounds like we have a 50-50 shot still with both Clark and Bell. If so, that means, using probability theory, that we should land at least one or the other. If so, I think we are looking at finishing with the #2 ranked class maybe.
Although we'll have to gray shirt someone or run someone off to DII and I don't like that.

We could also land both and then Meyer's recruiting prowess would undoubtedly be second to no man and his moniker "The Closer" truly deserved.
i think we are done, bell or clark would be a big stunner and huge get if either happen
Long strider just like Ginn. Holy shit can that young man run!
2013 WR James Clark is either very good at hyping his announcement and keeping his decision a secret or he will be a #Buckeye tomorrow

@OSUCavsfan89 What's the latest?

@jbook37 Bill Greene is calling him a #Buckeye. One UF insider has changed his prediction. JC Shurtburtt is saying #Buckeyes. Others as well
WOW...now clark and bell seem more probable than zeke!! whoda thunk it???? I love recruiting and I love UFM!!!
