I just heard that Nevada gave the "=" sign to the Mayan apocalypse tomorrow as well.
It must be true then...
According to 247, yesterday we offered Dan Skipper, who's a 6-10/295 OT out of Colorado and soft verbaled to Tennessee.
And Dylan Wiesman, a 6-4/290 OG from Colerain who decommitted from UC, doesn't have an offer but is scheduled to visit OSU next month.
And of course, Urban had already offered Cal OT commit Cameron Hunt. scUM has also offered Skipper and Hunt.
As Iowa is alluding too, I am beginning to think that some OT will be a part of this class. I'll go with the 4 you mentioned and a OT. I'm not completely ruling out Bell, Quick, or Elder. Ryan Timmons could be a guy to watch if we miss out on Elder and Quick. He is visiting in Jan.

I agree with CavsFan that Urban seems bound and determined to bring in one more OL. Going after Dorian Johnson and David Dawson seemed smart--they were both top talents who had decommitted from PSU and scUM on their own. But since they'd come off the market again, Urban's offered Kenny Lacy, who was committed to UCLA and has since reaffirmed his commitment, and a week or two ago he offered Wisconsin commit Jack Keeler, and now Hunt and Skipper. Aside from Lacy, they were all committed to schools that had lost their head coaches, which is what happened with PSU commits Tommy Schutt, Joey O'Connor, Cam Williams, and Armani Reeves.
I think that's a recruiting strategy we should continue to expect from Urban in the future.
yeah, there seems to always be a guy totally off the radar. i think if meyer wants him elder is in for sure, not sure he really really wants him though. but im not going to act like i even know
From what I can tell, it sounds like Elder wants to play basketball, too, which is why UCLA is ranked so highly on his list. Urban's supported guys running track (Devin Smith, Ryan Demps) but playing both football and basketball is a tough combo. I'm not sure his feelings about basketball but I'm assuming he is okay with if we're still in the mix. I assume Matta's on board with it, too.
