Wondering if anybody has experience with the on-line trading companies (Scottrade, Ameritrade, E-Trade, etc.) Looking into opening an account (not retirement account).
I have been with E-trade for over 8 yrs, trades are 9+, which is higher than most but overall zero complaints..everything is top notch for research, platforms, customer service and advice.
My mom wont let me use my allowance for this, but i have the basement pimped out though
I have a brokerage account and my Roth through Scottrade. Been with them for about 5 years and never had a problem. $7 trades, good research, and there is a branch office close by if I ever need to speak to someone in person. It's pretty hard to go wrong with most of the online companies.
I recently switched to Optionshouse. The platform takes a bit of getting used to but the trades are 3.99 with no minimum. Alot cheaper than what I was paying thru E-trade.
Sharebuilder thru ING / CapitalOne, over a year, no issues
How firm thy friendship O-HI-O
What is min investment amount?
