Desert Heat wings from B-Dubs. Best dry rub out there.
Pinto, Navy and White beans, in a crock pot (cooked for 19 hours so far) with double smoked jowl pork (for flavor)and smoked ham (to eat) -w- plenty of sweet onion and a dab of bacon drippings. Buttermilk cornbread -w- real butter, and fried potatoes. Southern comfort food at its finest.
I think I gained 5 lbs. just by reading this
Yeah, it isn't something you want to eat every day. Really good on a blustery day though.

My mother in law passed away exactly 50 days ago. My wife is Buddhist and we observed their tradition of no meat for 49 days while mourning.

Swensons tonight. Im thinking a Quarter Pounder plus with pickles, mustard, and onion, a Galleyboy, onion rings, and a vanilla shake. Worked all day with zero food........Quarter Pounder may be upgraded to a Half Pounder. If I have a couple more posts, I may eat my arm.
The order ended up as a triple cheeseburger plain, a Galleyboy (double cheeseburger with tartar sauce and BBQ sauce relish), and onion rings.
Tonight.....Homemade chicken fingers, and au gratin potatoes.
Grilled a couple of sirloins and some red skin potatos (served with sun dried tomato dressing drizzled on and parmesan cheese), green beans, and a Purple Haze Abita (actually had that while grilling).
The best tacos in the world! Second night in a row, but the wife makes the best tacos. Happy boy!
Tonight, pan fried some thin pork chops (flour and Italian breadcrumb dredge). Steamed some Asparagus (I like to cut them to size and soak them overnight in sugar water). Add some tomato wedges.
They were great! Not sure what's on the menu tonight yet but I did have some awesome clam chowder for lunch. Not the canned stuff. Good Florida girl ClaChow! Mrs Digger is an awesome cook.
Seriously, is anyone not cooking on the grill tonight?!
so far...my dinner has consisted of 4 beers...don't think grillinem gonna improve the taste
