At this point I am content to let this play out just to see what other garbage is shaken loose.
What will we learn from Spanier, Curley, Shultz, etc...?
What will we learn about the missing D.A.? The Second Mile? The state of Pennsylvania failing to do anything with Sandusky for 12 years?
IMO this was always bigger than Paterno and PSU football. A lot of people were content to see mostly Paterno and PSU football take the fall, INCLUDING PSU, which tells me they know that there are other skeletons in the closet.
PSU commissioned the Freeh report and then ran with its findings that Paterno and football were the guilty parties here, and then PSU couldn't accept harsh NCAA punishment fast enough.
For something so messy, pinning it all on a dead football coach and his football program seems a little too clean. During the Holocaust Hitler and his Nazi leadership put the system in place, BUT it took a lot of people at much lower levels to make it work as efficiently as it did, including civilians who lived amongst the wretched stench of the camps yet had no knowledge of what the Nazis were doing.
I think if people really want to know the truth and really want justice they are happy that the Paternos have had there own investigation conducted and that there may be more people taken down - at PSU, in the state of Pennsylvania, etc...
This is an outstanding assessment Mark. We may never know all the seedy goings on that happened over there. This is where the boosters, alums, and fan base are delusional as the day is long. They all bought in to that "clean as new fallen snow" personna that was projected for 1000 years over there. They are demanding this fight instead of licking their wounds and moving forward as they damn well should. Remember the old saying: " Be careful of what you ask for...you just may get it!" They are doing nothng but attempting to use legal bs and loopholes to get the media and others to feel sorry for them and wiggle off the hook! it ain't gonna happen! They may just open up a can of shit they never thought possible! May they rest in hell as far as I'm concerned!
Personally, I can't wait until we find out that JoePa didn't actually die, but was put into hiding to protect him even more. Seriously, his death couldn't have came at a better time for all of this. I'm sure he is such a God there that he is being protected right now. These sick fucks covered all of this up for like 15 years before, does anyone actually believe they still aren't doing it? JoeChrist is still bitching in Sue's basement...
LOL! A friend of mine was saying the exact same thing! He's living in the Bahamas!
Right! Someone please pin this thread! In a couple years this will all come out. Then everyone will say "damn these people really are fucked up". Well I already know they are fucked up. And I am confident this is the deal. Pennsylvania Tire Fire right here.
Bottom line is PSU covered up some sick shit that happened to children. I could care less who suffers as long as the ones who covered it up suffer like hell.
They were children who trusted adults. Those adults turned on them and now they live with it. Why? Because PSU football is so great?? F PSU football.
All involved need to ask for forgiveness instead of trying to blame someone else.
What's done is done!!!
I won't ever post on this subject again. Whole thing makes me sick. Live with it PSU!!!
