Kick ass! And with 2 or 3 guys left to add. We could very likely end up with a number 2 class. Can I get an I - O?

I think if we add both Gibson and Bell we'll seal a spot in the top 3, maybe get to #2.
When it's all said and done, coaching is more important than class rankings. I hope our coaching staff has what it takes to develop this talent.

It will be hard to compete with Alabama's 30 spots when all is said and done
Yeah, you'd think that just based on sheer volume--quantity over quality--TAMU would be #1 with 35. That's why the rankings confuse me, i.e., most services have USC with 15 commitments ranked over TAMU's 35. I realize that USC's are all 4/5-stars and 13 of them played in the U.S. Army All-American game but again, TAMU has a class that's more than twice as large.
after 20 commits, rivals doesnt put as much weight on your commitments. your top 20 recruits get the highest points to say, then your next however many will only get so many points.. if that makes sense.
This site confuses me. If our highest ranking is 3 then how can or composite be 3? I heard Meyer say that rankings are nice but it's how they look 3 or 4 years from now. You hope you hit on about 60% of your recruits.
Think TAMU has a lot of 3 star players. Scout will reward them more with their system of ranking. If you can make a top 10 on all the sites you'll probably going to be alright talent wise . If they fit what you want to do is probably most important along with development. Their are a lot of teams out there anymore who don't recruit with the big boys but can compete. Maybe not for national championships but with who plays in them.
After looking at Rivals I noticed we have 5 players ranked at 6.0 which is borderline 5 star rankings.
I think we might be lucky to stay in the top 5. LSU just had what 7 players declare for the draft. Florida has 3 that announced for the draft and 5 more from transfers. So should be 4 SEC teams with 30 or more committs.
Rivals shows 55 uncommitted 4/5-stars and 52 of them have offers from at least one SEC school so there's talent out there for them.
They can have all they want as long as they don't take any of ours. The good news is most of ours could have committed to almost any SEC school if they wanted to so I don't really see that as a risk.
Who cares what were ranked in recruiting rankings ,that's like a dick measuring contest!!
I hope our players are better than anyone else's that we play!
They can't keep the all that is why they are not ranked higher than they are, they have 19 spots that means they will either cut 16 current players or only 19 of the 35 are usable. It's sad that kids want to play in the SEC so badly the gamble everything and end up at JR coleges and some never even play college football.
