Is back in the BIG. Dave Biddle, is saying Jim Bollman, will be coaching the OL @ Purdue.
Better them than us!
Has Hazell lost his f*cking mind.
East Coast Player Known for Knocking Fools Out One At A Time!
I thought Hazel was a smart man?
Our D-line must be licking their chops now. I mean it's not like Purdue has an all-star o-line in the first place but now they're gonna be horrible. And I agree with everyone else, what the hell is Hazell thinking?!?! Is Bollman blackmailing him for a job?
An interesting choice...O-line consistently and systematically deteriorated from 2002 to 2011. Talent stopped coming and talent we could get badly under-performed. Both Adams and Boone are notable examples of the latter and but there are numerous others. Purdue for years has been a pass oriented offense and now you select a man to protect that legacy who got his SR QB nearly killed at BC this year?...Someone call Colombo, we need an expert to get to the bottom of this one ...
How firm thy friendship O-HI-O
the meltdown on this board that will take place god forbid they pull an upset on us would be unreal
i wouldnt say talent stopped comiing. we had plenty of 4 star and 5 star o line recruits who simply didnt perform or were poorly coached. cant blame coaching on everything, but it was a ginormous problem. some guys are just busts though.
Wow, that's hilarious. Unbelievable. Even wtf? Wow. Hazel just made his fatal error. Gonna be some great pass protection for those hot Purdue quarterbacks now...cough, cough.
Lol Ikr , people believe whatever they hear on bucknuts, its the internet ,so it must be true.
its amazing how bollman turns people on on this board... Hard ons all over the place .. Too much if you ask me..
Too logical, too obvious, too simple, therefore unacceptable to this board...
I like Hazell, but his fate may be doomed to this hire. I watch BC last year a few games and it was exactly the same error's we constantly saw. Line jumping straight up, playing with no leverage. He was the run game coordinator for BC, and they had one of the worst run offenses in the nation. The one game I saw they put up a graphic they were only averaging like 2.1 yards per carry and was like 115th in the nation. Look at a guy like Boone, kid always had great talent now that he's in the NFL and getting good coaching he is playing really well. Now some of that is that he grew up a lot, that wasn't Bollman's fault, but how he played football. He is now mean and physical, at OSU our offensive line was never mean or aggressive under him. Our line this year, was night in day. They were physical and are developing that mean streak and that's just in the first year under a real offensive line coach. Poor Hazell, just made a crucial mistake.
The fat sloth linemen that would have had to go to MAC or D2 now have a welcome in the Big10 again. Bollman has no place in major football and Purdue has just relegated itself as a bottom feeding team for years to come. Too bad, because many thought Hazel could bring this team back to relavence. It is a sad day for Big10 football.
Who's next? Nick Siciliano?
I would go to Purdue's website to let them know what they're in for, but I doubt anyone would ever read it. No shit, every post there was started by their mod and almost every thread has only one post. It's groundball season and they have nothing to say.
The next question is how many sacks does the silver bullets get against that offense
I had to look into this personally over on the Purdue board and was blowwwn away with how correct you are. I thought you were over-exaggerating how pathetic the PurDON'T board is, but that shat was just comical!
Dude there are a 1000 threads started by the Mods and other 24/7 writers with only.......one post!! As if the lights are on but nobody is home! Worst fan base ever!!
Why even have a Purdue board? Take it away and give it to a high school team or other squad that wants to talk football! Geesh!!
Hazell looking to get fired pretty quick eh? Must have a nice buyout..
"man we got some fuckin weirdos on this site." - Davebucknut 9/5/13 post of the year
Enough NFL personnel have stated how poorly OSU linemen were at pass blocking.
Thats a coaching evaluation.
oh i agree, by no means am i defending jim bollman. guys bust though too. it's not jim bollman's fault that some guys just simply dont pan out due to work ethic, grades, etc.
Sounds like a perfect spot for the spammers to visit...do they like international cricket at Purdue?
I noticed the same thing a while back when I went there for some reason. It is almost like one guy sitting in a room talking to himself. It's kinda sad.
My question is, do you think the NCAA will allow their qb to transfer without penalty? I think it should be a rule that the qb can do that anytime Bollman takes an OL over. Seriously, this guy has to be thinking someone is trying to get him killed
I thought Bolls was pretty well respected by most coaches.
What? The guy who didn't care for recruiting? The guy who took great o-line talent and threw it away with his awful blocking techniques? Speaking of sources, do you have any that say he was well-respected? If that was true, why didn't anyone try to steal him away from OSU when he was here?
Message Board coaches, lol.. What do you guys know about football to judge what Darrell Hazel is doing?
So you think Bollman was a good hire?
