@Derek11W: Also hearing OSU staff feels good about Dontre Wilson.
@OSUCavsfan89: We are going to find out what team has the better insiders. Florida insiders think they have Clark. Some OSU think Clark is ours. (1/2)
@OSUCavsfan89: (2/2) Oregon insiders think they have Wilson. Some OSU insiders are saying the OSU staff is confident about Wilson.
@OSUCavsfan89: Clark attended the UF-Ole Miss basketball last night. Sounds like he had a great visit. Florida insiders are VERY confident
@OSUCavsfan89: @Yanksfan20121 He announces Wed at 9am. Most likely a Gator. Will decide and notify coaches today. [re: Clark]
"Buckeye born and bred, a Buckeye 'til I'm dead"
@BillBankGreene: You might be a recruitnik if you care more about Vonn Bell and Dontre Wilson, than you do Baltimore and San Francisco. #recruitnik
um, that would be me...
You can be a recruitnik. Me? I'm perfectly happy being a cosmonaut.
creed is a kumquat
Seriously, I'm as intrigued by recruiting as anyone, but there is a line of holding on too tight. We just have a few more days.
I think EE is in. Clark and Wilson, I don't think will be in.
Bottom line, it's already a great class. And at the risk of sounding like a jackass, whoever doesn't come aboard....well, I think it's more their loss, than "ours"
"Any board that would ban 3yds is worthless"
I think EE is in and we get one of Clark or Wilson.
I know, I know, every couple of hours I change my prediction with each late-breaking Tweet.
The thing that makes me think we get one of these WRs was UFM not following up with Elder and Timmons. One must be in the bag.
@jcshurburtt: Looks like #UF probably pulled ahead for Clark. He's a player the #Gators need IMO http://t.co/brqxZjQm #SigningDay
If true, then your statement on Elder is wrong. If Clark is gone and EE is in, then Elder becomes a must have.
Timmons...whatever. He's gone to KY. Good luck to the kid losing 5-7 games per year. Likely had his underwear in his ass because Urban waited too long to offer. Not sure how anyone selects Kentucky, as damn basketball school, over tOSU a certified contender?
Wilson isn't coming, so hopefully the Bucks end with Elder and maintain EE at ALL COSTS. That kid is a must have and fits nicely with what the staff is building.
I'm happy with the committed kids that want to be Buckeyes and hope that UM and staff stop entertaining "wishy washy" recruits that don't want to win and appear to not be "all in" with regard to competing at the highest levels.
End the class with 25, tip your cap to all they have been recruited, and move on to the 2014 class. Sick of hearing the BS speculation about most of these kids.
BuckNasty is all about The Buckeyes!!!
There hasn't been any chatter on OSU and Elder in a while. Last i read, he was postponing his decision and wasnt sure he wanted to play Bball at Purdont or Football at UCLA.
Apparently Urban passed on an in home with Timmons.
It seems like Wilson maybe the only one we get.
I hope EZE is still in. He seems like a great kid, both on and off the field. Hopefully, he remembers why he committed to OSU in the first place 10 months ago and that Urban was recruiting him long before everyone else. If he goes to Mizzou, we'll have lost out to his heart the same way we lost Quick.
Ohio State has a better chance of getting Corn Syrup and Corn Liquor than Corn Elder. Basketball is his first love but he's rated higher in football than basketball. Urban's said he doesn't mind his players playing another sport but I don't see Matta being overjoyed having a 5-10 PG joining his team in January. When was that the last time a guy played football and basketball for Ohio State at the same time? Art Schlichter maybe? It wasn't Rickey Dudley--his b-ball eligibility was done before he joined the football team. Purdue is the only BCS school that's offered Elder for both football and basketball. Smart move by Hazell to get Painter on board.
Timmons to Kentucky is a really good move for him. He was ours for the taking but Urban dragged his heels and slow-played the kid, then Stoops was hired at UK and suddenly everything changed. He obviously never felt the love from Urban and some guys enjoy being the big fish in a small pond.
I don't think Bell, Wilson or Clark will end up in Columbus. Two months ago, I said watch out for Tennessee. As far as Wilson and Clark, it's just a feeling I have as I sit in my Sputnik module--which was the predecessor to Mig's Recruitnik rocket--and orbit the Earth.
Be careful, you'll be accused of twitter stalking by Mike Morris

@GerdOzone: By my count, Ohio State only has three signing day commits from out of state since 2002. So don't expect them to double that number this wk.
For what it's worth, this was posted by Zeke' dad yesterday.
For someone who was using history as a barometer, that's a lazy remark. It's not just about the school; it's just as much about the man.
1) We've never had a lot of signing day commits, not that we fans didn't have hope, period, hence the accusation that Tressel couldn't close.
2) Urban wasn't our coach from 2002-2011.
3) According to Scout:
In 2003, Urban's first year at Utah, he had 9 recruits commit on NSD.
In 2004, he had 14.
In 2005, his first year at Florida, he had 4.
In 2006, he had 1.
In 2007, he had 3.
In 2008, he had 2.
In 2009, he had 2.
In 2010, he had 2.
Last year, his first at Ohio State, he had two NSD commits including one OOS (Marcus).
That means Urban had 1 of the 3. In my opinion, one in just 1 year is just as good if not a better gauge than three over 10 years.
Posted yesterday but taken when?
Otherwise, it's worth a lot--a picture's always told a story of a thousand words.
I just wish Mom wasn't wearing what appears to be a Missouri shirt.
@jbook37: Per 247 Steve Wiltfong Texas beat writer Jeff Howe spoke to Dontre Wilson coach today, he is now calling Dontre Wilson to Ohio State.
Here we go again. Thanks for posting, but I don't believe one word of this.
Talk to the coach again at 9PM tonight and he'll likely have Oregon's balls all in his mouth.
That kid is not going to tOSU and we shouldn't set ourselves up for this. Furthermore, I hope he doesn't go to C-Bus at the
expense of Elliott. Elliott is the future Buckeye that I want to see and the squad has got to have. Plain and simple.

"Hookem.com's Jeff Howe just spoke with a source very close to Dontre Wilson. Here is the latest, per the source...Ohio State is the front runner for the current Oregon commitment. This is following the Texas visit, and the Longhorns are on the outside looking in with a commitment to Texas not expected. Wilson is likely to announce a decision on Monday, and it looks like Ohio State will be the pick."

I say we take them both.... And f ttun!
not sure what this means.........
Mark Pantoni @markpantoni
5 Star Friday came early this week ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Is anyone else concerned that Pantoni and Zach Smith give too much info about recruiting? Coaches aren't supposed to say anything about these guys, but he seems to reveal a lot. And yeah, IK he's not naming names, but the NCAA could start to infer things if they wanted.
Nope not concerned, OSU has a compliance staff and also Urban is on top of things I'm sure.

yes, i am concerned.
then there was this Tweet and I doubt he is playing chess:
Of course, it could mean anything.
@AriWassermanBSB: Vonn Bell on Sunday night: "I have not made my mind up yet, but I will have my decision Wednesday morning."
Sounds like we still have a shot with Bell. This is from the 11W forum by Derek Young:
"Was told by someone on OSU side of things that Clark was a "possibility"
Still think its UF because that same someone was much more confident on Bell and Wilson and being close to home probably wins out."
Hey miguel, if you do have a twitter make sure you follow Jbook37. The dude is practically on staff with bucknuts, and has a lot of inside connections. There has been a few times that Jbook has broke a story even before our staff has. Jbook is one the best posters on this site, and all of his tweets are concerning tOSU recruiting.
Honestly for those of you that do not have a twitter, jbook is almost worth creating one. Obviously it does not cost money to follow someone on twitter and Steve, Bill, and Biddle all have twiiter accounts and tweet valuable information by the second. Typically jbook and the rest of the staff tweet premium info, so making a twitter account just to follow those guys is pretty much worth it. If you do this Twitter will basically become an tOSU recruiting timeline.
coaches are not allowed to make reference to any recruits by name until they sign. otherwise everything else is fine.
