+1 being a QB is more than athletic ability and a cannon, there are some things you can't teach a QB. You are more realistic than these guys claiming we never had a gameplan and he wasn't coached, they sit on their couches thinking they know all about football.
I noticed TP get fraustrated about his inabilities than picking himself up, a leader should exibihit certian characteristics, i know he went 34-4 but sometimes when things were going really bad, he couldn't rally up the troops.
I always asked my self why he would never run up the middle or power through the middle and would always outrun people to the sidelines, defenses would have had to spy us and contain us leaving WRs free and HBs also. but instead they just contained the outsides.
Too logical, too obvious, too simple, therefore unacceptable to this board...
I understand that his family had struggles, but if it were you will you wear gucci and get 1000's of dollars in tattoos when you mom needs rent money. I've been the man of the house at a young age also, but I always knew what was most important. Its hard to make a case for TP when you saw him draped in gucci and tats in his interviews while he was here.
Not looking good...
Audibles - Chris Burke on the NFL
Good post, Sugar. I'd list two more concerns.
He is not accurate throwing the football.
He is not the sharpest tool in the shed. You have to be smart enough to read defenses and make quick decisions. I don't think Terrell is up to it.
Other than these things and his lack of character and leadership ability, he is a physical specimen trying to play quarterback in the most competitive league in the world.
Hate to wish it on him but he needs football taken away from him for a year or two to bring him back to reality.
Not really he just needs the right people around him, so he can grow and stop acting like a child
Pryor cannot throw, and the nfl is a passing league. He cannot read defenses, he's unable to go through professions to hit a 3rd or 4th receiver, he is no field vision at all, he is not an accurate passer, and his mechanics are awful looks like he is shot putting the football.
In college, his athleticism was good enough and he didn't have to be a passer. In the pros, he's doomed.
Pryor will never start in the NFL and by the way Carson Palmer had a few pretty good years in Cinny, he just had some injury problems.
