Too logical, too obvious, too simple, therefore unacceptable to this board...
That's my man chris gambles #
From Alex at Eleven Warriors, posted in their forum:
Update here from my sources----the visit is going FANTASTIC....if Osu doesn't get Bell they can look at themselves in the mirror and say they did everything in their power to land him....coaches, players, fellow recruits, fellow recruits' parents; everyone is on this
"Buckeye born and bred, a Buckeye 'til I'm dead"
I think we are behind Bama on this. I give us a 40% chance.
His brother sent out some very proSEC tweets in relation to Bell's recruitment so I am not too confident...
Well, we'll see what happens. It sure would be great to see him and Worley as our starting safety s is a year or two.
Maybe the bags of cash arrived today???
This will be Meyer's big pitch to win it all for Bell. If we dont get a commitment this weekend we probably wont
Don't make much of it because next week he'll be in Tide gear and after that Vols'. Bottom line though is Tennessee is his favorite. He wants to follow in Eric Berry's footsteps. He's going to Diggs and Quick us in the end by choosing his hometown school.
And if I'm Meyer, Coombs or Withers, I'm going to push Worley, Burrows, Bogard and Conley's buttons to go out and prove that we didn't lose out by not getting Bell. Prove that you're more physical, just as fast and do it by going out and becoming our next great Safeties. Go out and become First Team All-Americans, Thorpe and Lott nominees and First Round NFL Draft picks. That's your challenge. Then say Fuck Bell because we didn't need that sorry-ass mommas boy anyway who's too chicken shit to leave the south. We only want real men here!
saying that southern kids should go north to help "dethrone" Alabama is far from a pro-SEC tweet IMO
A lot of tweets from his brother saying Buckeye Nation losing points, guess they wanted to party but couldn't.
I think he is going to Bama. If that's all he's thinking about, it's okay with me. Course it could be all coming from his brother
But there was a tweet about how the SEC rules. Also a tweet where he seemed to make fun of Meyer for thinking he could compete with Saban at OSU. That tweet rubbed me the wrong way.
Twitter is like drinking. You need to do it responsibly and most 18 year olds don't know how.
If they like the SEC and Bama, that's okay. Seems to be a great talent but might not want to be a Buckeye.
But liking Bama now is like buying a house at the top of the market in a bubble.
I think Bama has peaked and it will be harder for them to win more championships at this point.
The smart money would go with the undervalued asset with a lot more upside.

after reading his brothers twitter, i dont think it'll be that much of bad thing when vonn bell decides to go elsewhere. no idea if he's like his brother, but his brother sounds like a walking violation
yea i saw that later. I cant tell what he is trying to say anymore
3 out of 4 BCS titles is a very nice house!!!
And I do not see an end in the NEAR future....
You might want to check BAMA's roster..9 seniors and 3 leaving early for the 1st round...
You guys just keep on talking and playing in your weak A$$ conference and WE will keep those titles in the SEC.

I come in peace... That said, stating that UT is Bells favorite is simply uninformed. You have good mods/reporters over here so you should know better.
Yes, we do. But we've also learned to never discount the pull of the hometown team, especially with kids outside the B1G's footprint.
Anyone here an ESPN insider? Brad Bournival's posted an interview with Bell's HS coach recapping his OSU visit.
Round the bowl and down the hole, roll, Tide, roll.
Where I grew up, "Crimson tide" is what the ladies called their monthlies.
Go back to your filthy swamp of a home down there in redneck country you piece of shit!
I know you want him for yourself so I understand that this is shaping your response.
I don't know for sure that he'll choose Tennessee no more than you do. The fact is that not every recruit chooses the big-name school.
Here in Buckeye Nation we have grown accustomed to being shunned in favor of the smaller, less decorated home school of a prized recruit.
And if anything the hiring of Butch Jones may be more appealing than the recently fired Dooley. I don't know for sure but one thing that is true about many born and bred in $EC country is that they're often scared to venture beyond their domain.
Beyond that Tennessee is a good job. In terms of football it's probably the second best job in the $EC behind Alabama. 100,000 plus in Neyland just off the river with passionate fans is a great selling point always. So I wouldn't rule them out at the same point either.
hey trailer trash, don't you have your cousin to take to the movies tonight.......let me guess...your favorite movie......Deliverance......
Bottom line is it's Bell's loss. It really is.
This is a premier program point blank period with our without the three national titles in four years. With or without the consecutive #1 recruiting classes. And do we want all of that again? Yes indeed. You better believe we do!
But the point here is that this school, this athletic program and this city FAR EXCEEDS anything that the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa or that state as a whole can offer.
That's not homerism, bias, arrogance or anything else. That's an F'N fact! I've been to those parts and there again isn't much of anything that they can ever have on what we have up here even with the snow, cold, outsourced jobs (most of which have been shipped down to the country of Alabama) or bland foods.
BuckeyeNation needs to exude the same levels of pride and confidence that these southerners do. We're allowing them to talk smack about this program as if they have something to brag about outside of winning championships (which is a big deal but not the whole story). I'm sick of these southerners coming up here as if they have something to be arrogant and dismissive about. They should feel privileged and we need to begin letting them know just that.
There's no way they'd go to L.A., Austin, Ann Arbor, South Bend or any other city talking smack as if they're the small, hick town that isn't worthy of their services.
The only reason they get away with it is because we allow them to. I'm not one who relishes in playing second fiddle to Alabama in any manner. To me, it's unacceptable. That's an inferiority complex and we shouldn't have that. We need to become a more confident program.
When a recruit from down there comes up here, we should highlight our plusses to their minuses. Now I know with some recruits this could rub them the wrong way, however, we're just telling the truth and if the truth hurts, then tough. If you're a man you can take it. We just need to let them know 1) the assets we already have and 2) what we're committed to: excellence.
ummm sorry you're wrong. alabama is the premier football program until someone does something about it. if you dont want to believe that then you're out of your mind. i wont blame a kid for wanting to go to alabama right now. let alone a kid from the south.
ill never understand why people get so upset about 17/18 year olds who decide they dont want to play for ohio state, especially guys not from ohio. they have no ties to the school in any way and you expect them to go to ohio state for what reason exactly? add in he's proven nothing at this level. we have 5 potentially 7 db's in this class already who are all damn good. support them and say good luck to bell when he goes to bama.
