I expect us to actually move down one spot. We will be six.
Assuming Oregon wins tonight, it will be k state, ND, Oregon, Alabama and Georgia above us.
Expect the complaining from the sec and bam a fans to begin about how even a one loss SEC team deserves to be in a title game over undefeated ND or K state.
I can't say they'd be making a bad argument about a one loss SEC team vs an undefeated KSU.
I rather KSU isn't anywhere near the NC game.
"man we got some fuckin weirdos on this site." - Davebucknut 9/5/13 post of the year
Disagree. ANY undefeated team from a BCS conference deserves to go ahead of Alabama. Makes no sense to me to pick Alabama, who lost at home to a lower ranked team, ahead of KSU, Oregon or ND (if they stay undefeated)...
I agree, watching Bama for the last 2 weeks, they don't look as dominate as people say they are. LSU won that game. I actually think the SEC is over-rated this year. UF winning against La-Laf on a blocked punt - come on man. LSU had trouble vs Townson, GA should have lost to UK.
I would agree though that any 1 lose SEC would beat ND. I just don't think they are good, but KSU and Oregon are legit.
It will be interesting to see how it plays out. Right now, KSU and Oregon are the most impressive IMHO. I expect the winner of the SEC championship game (I expect it to be Alabama) will play Oregon for the NC...if the Ducks can finish undefeated. I think KSU and ND will get passed up.
I think ND will lose at USC, but I think Oregon and K State win out........then get ready for a shit storm of talk from the SEC (Georgia and Bama fans? that if they win the SEC title they should go to the BCS title game.
Agree but I'd rather see Kstate/Oregon
Have KSU go to LSU and come home for A&M and see if they even win a game.
Bama should drop as they lost, but KSU isn't better. This is exactly way a playoff is needed.
ND is going to run the table too. Why shouldn't they play for the title?

Possibly...but what they lack in elite talent they make up for with coaching and execution. Sharp team that will give anyone fits.
An SEC schedule is a meat grinder. It's difficult not to give deference to a team that goes through it and only comes out with a loss.
I'm not sure why KSU should be over an undefeated ND team either.
Especially over ND, even with no losses. ND will play one less game because of the SEC Conf championship game.
No question, but an undefeated season no matter who you play is a rare feat.
Expect the Bama fans to make that point. They will point out they have a conference championship game while ND and K state do not.......then quickly remind those hillbillies that Bama benefited last year from not playing in a conference title game.
Fricken BCS at its finest......
big 12 doesn't have a championship game, which gives k-state both an unfair advantage in that they won't have to win 13 games. same with notre dame. 12-0 may be good enough but...if alabama or uga goes 12-1 and beats the other one, their sos over 13 games may be enough to leapfrog them over k-state, notre dame and everyone else.
That's exactly what will happen. If Bama wins the CCG they will claim that nullifies ND and K State being I defeated, and its their own fault for not being in a conference that has a CG. That and because its the S E C will propel them into the game. Media bias will ensure that.
in their defense, winning 6 straight national titles does give them the right to say and argue that point. We may not like it, but that is what will happen.
I'm confused: which side of this argument are you taking? Because it sounds like you're talking out of both sides of your mouth by first bashing Alabama's claim and then defending it by citing the SEC's track record.
Alabama's loss did nothing more than guarantee we won't have two SEC teams play in the NC game again because if 11-1 UGA had beaten a 12-0 Alabama in a close game in the SEC CG so they were both 12-1, the computer polls might given them both enough points to warrant a rematch. Now, whoever loses the SEC CG will have at least two losses, as will every other SEC team aside from the team that wins the Alabama-UGA game, so there's zero chance we'll see a repeat of last year UNLESS Oregon, ND and K-State all collapse down the back stretch.
I posted what I think is going to be coming out of the mouth of the SEC/Alabama homers in the next 3 weeks.
I think they make a valid point by claiming the SEC is so superior to the other conferences (they do keep winning national titles). But, I think that claim is not completely accurate with bama this year because they dont have to play Flordia, S. Carolina and Georgia in the regular season.
I was hoping for an Oregon-Bama BCS title game so Oregon could beat them. I guess now we have to look forward to a Oregon - K State game because I think ND will lose to Oregon.
it's amazing how k-state is hands down the best team in the country from what my eyes have seen, yet no one seems to respect them at all
If ND, K State, and Oregon are undefeated there is no way they pass ND up for a BCS Title spot. Just because they are "Notre Dame" and their history will get them in over a undefeated K State.
0% chance. if those 3 are all undefeated k-st will for sure be in the game. notre dame MIGHT be able to pass oregon but that is extremely doubtful since oregon will have 13 win to nd's 12 which will make a difference
They got my respect...Snyder has done a remarkable job. I like the fact that they're under the radar so-to-speak...as much as being in the top 3 can be under the radar.
You expect Florida to drop a spot after winning? Yeah, they might , your team almost lost to a shitter.
Thats because too many people suck SEC **** or just listen to the media instead of actually forming an opinion from watching other teams play.
Posters here stopped caring about what you expect at tornado zadar 1. There is alot of football to be played yet. Anything can happen, any week. ND is fortunate or unfortunate to not have a Conference Championship to play. I hope it bites them in the ass. As for the SEC...............F THEM!
