Much like the presidential election, which for many voters isn't so much a ballot cast for one candidate as a vote against another, who DON'T you want to win the national championship: Notre Dame or the SEC for the 7th year in a row?
Tough call. But I'd rather ND over an SEC champ for the 7th year in a row. Although I won't be rooting for either and I won't lose any sleep if ND can't cut it. I'm all verklempt over this one though.

October 12, 2013. PSU 43 - UM 40 (4 OT). Unfortunately this fan wasn't around long enough to see it!
I hate ND so I would say $EC is better for me but I prefer it is NOT Bama
“The only thing they can get me for is running a funeral parlor without a license.”
Much as I hate ND and am an alum of Alabama, I agree. And if nothing else, OSU beat three teams ND beat.
Personally I am not bothered by the SEC. I hate Norte Dame beyond words as I see them on par with Michigan (e.g. low life). Hate both of them beyond a doubt. So pencil me in as not giving a damn one way or the other.
Would prefer to wait and see my Buckeyes take down whomever is in front of them for the 2013 NC game!

Which one is Obama and which one is represented as the republican. I am going with the Republican.
Nasty how are you not bothered by the SEC???? No attack just asking????
If I have to hear SEC speed and SEC defense 1 more time, I just might punch someone. 1st what is a SEC defense????? Is that Kentucky, Tenn, Ole Miss, Miss St, Auburn, Ark, Vandy, Mizzo???????? GA which has only played 2 top 25 schools (and lost to 1 S Carolina) How about TX A&M who sneaked out a win vs Ole Miss 30-27 or LA Tech 59-57. Who might I say has played 3 top 25 teams (and lost to 2 of them).
So basically 4 or 5 teams in the conference has a solid defense and you are sold to others that you have an SEC defense. BS.
The more I look at SEC the more I think they are frauds. Yes I can say SEC probably has top heavy the best in the country (Bama, UF, LSU and maybe GA or TX A&M) But MSU beat GA last year, TX A&M is stopping Johnny football and you win the game, so that leaves you with 3 teams.
I'm rooting for Mark Richt, the only classy coach of the three current options. Can't stand ND or Nick Satan.

Totally agree. Richt/Georgia is the only team I can really hope wins.
"Buckeye born and bred, a Buckeye 'til I'm dead"
I just can't take another SEC win. If the B1G is not up to it then fine with someone else, even if that means rooting for the Domers, which in itself is a nauseating endeavor.
grew up hating nd, not the sec. roll tide
I don't care if the SEC wins 20 times in row...cannot root for ND.
What I am saying is that I would have no problem with the SEC should they win the championship.
I flat out hate Norte Dame and Michigan more. The non-stop ND this, ND that would make me ill. The numerous personal interest stories about Manti and how he's the greatest LB to EVER play the game....yada.....yada...yada would be far too much for me.
Sorry I just aint interested. I don't want want to hear that BS, however, I understand what you are saying about the media's "johnson love" for the SEC. It is also far too much to bare.
Dude I grew up hating the skunk bear and ND, not the SEC. Those engrained hates ain't gonna ever go away!
Could you imagine if the skunk bear won the title? Could you imagine how much of a pain the ass that would be???
Yep. my thoughts exactly!
Frack ND and their sycophant following! Hate 'em til the end of time!
Just waiting for 2013, when I can see my Buckeyes roll again!!
Dude you should stop wasting your time as Richt ain't gonna win jack!
He's the biggest under performer in the SEC. Dude he's like Clemson.
Look good on paper and fold in the biggest of games!
Alabama gonna skull drag Georgia!
After Graduating from tOSU, I have been in the South most of my adult life. Words simply cannot describe how unbearable SEC fans are.
For that one game only, I am a Domer Homer.
Hating scUM since 1964
I trust you haven't forgotten our sig bet...
Either this website doesn't exist or is not currently available.
You know I did, but don't mind paying up.
What did we bet???
This is really really tough.
I don't like ND becuase all we are going to hear is how they are relevant again. Have several 10-11 win seasons in a row and then we can talk about relevant (of course if they move to the ACC for football that might happen). This about a team that, for a missed fieldgoal we wouln't even be talking about.
On the other hand watching AL win a NC again, would make me ill, not because of the SEC and all that BS, but seeing Saban win his third. Best senario would be for GA to beat AL, and then GA to take out ND, but that is a long shot. So, still a dilema. I am waiting to after next week to decide and not sure I will root either way, just sit back and watch the game, hoping for a decent NCG.
Which team losing would benefit us the most recruiting? I would have to say ND, I would like to see the SEC lose but since we are now in recruiting mode that's where I would lean.
You should be nominated for sainthood
That would make him Catholic. Now he's cheering for ND. I smell a set up!
SEC, SEC, SEC. As much as I dislike the SEC I want the Notre Shame fans to put all that ND garb back in moth balls where it has been for years. I'm sick and tired of seeing all those fans coming out of the closet and Wal-Mart getting richer and richer.
I have to root for ND. They at least try to do things the right way. The football players that come out of there have become much better members of society than the players from any SEC school. Noone is perfect, but I'd rather work with an ND grad over an SEC drop-out any day of the week.
i gotta pull for notre dame. i prefer the domers' arrogance over the sec's continuing domination. it's getting embarrassing that no one can beat them, especially if georgia wins the national championship. it'll make the sec championship game the de facto national championship game.
