I see this as an NCAA issue. They certainly didn't think this through. Why do you punish future classes for the sins of the current student athletes? If there were going to be a bowl ban, they should have notified the University earlier in the season. Once again the NCAA shows how they are becoming more and more irrelevant. They have absolutely no control over events in college athletics. All they can do is provide impact after the fact. They give no direction or inspiration before the fact. This is sad, not only for us fans, but more importantly for the athletes.

I would not be surprised to lose one of two guys.

Remember folks, this is all because Tressel knowlingly playing ineligible players for an entire season.

Tell them screw you and drop out of the Sugar Bowl,that's what I would do. The Sugar Bowl I assume would go Ape Shit, oh well, too late to get a good school to play that is bowl eligible. Wish they would have made the ruling before they picked bowls, then it would've been this year. Because we forfeited last year, had suspensions this year & bowl ban next year. Its in essence a 3 year bowl punishment. That's horse shit & way out of line!

Yeah that was our Sugar Bowl, although we more deserved the Rose Bowl.

Message is pretty clear from the B1G, Michigan and Ohio State will be spared at all costs. Apparently Wisconsin also benefits from this too. OSU can't and PSU won't be threats to get to Indy next year. Your division sucks.

We deserve punished for what coach and some players did, absolutely. However, my issue is WITH the NCAA in that the ban was out of character in relation to past decisions. I will not even touch on the Miami, Auburn, LSU, South Carolina, etc infractions, or more realistically a lack there of.

Be consistent. Imagine if a real business or even the law worked like the NCAA!!! Complete joke of an association, and that was my belief before the ruling on tOSU.

Tornado I am not in denial and dont believe we didnt do anything wrong. My problem is with the NCAA and how they pick and choose who and how other programs get punished. My feelings on PSU, NCAA hands down atleast 3-4 year post season ban. Bet it doesnt happen. The NCAA is a joke. They resolved the CAM Newton payoff issue in no time, but dragged this out as long as possible. If this turns out to be true, I have no doubt that they dragged this out simply to innact the bowl ban for NEXT season knowing that if they handed out the ban this year it wouldn't sting as much. I just find it pathetic that they exceeded the norm in terms of punishment for OSU to make a statement about their lax treatment of other programs. In terms of credibility the NCAA has just lost what little they had left.

OSU did not send their response to the Bobby G questions until mid-November. If OSU responded quicker, the answer from the NCAA would have came earlier.
