We know he doesn't like school but the comment that he doesn't like football may well be true. Just because he has the talent to play the game doesn't necessarily mean he has the desire or love to play the game

I'm not sure what happened with him between HS and now.
I remember that our coaches loved his downfield blocking ability for a WR, and his HS highlight films
had several clips of him blocking.
I always figured that was a sign of a dedicated WR, because obviously blocking downfield is not
as glamorous as catches.
So, the lack of effort is puzzling. Maybe the coach wants to send a message that a talented
transfer is going to have to bust his rear end there? Confused.

Something else is going on in this kid's life. He's still ridículously young and can turn it around. Just not playing football it seems.

He just got kicked out of practice, not the team from what I know of. It could be entitlement, or it's possible that Cris Carter expects more of his soon than his own son expects of himself. Could be a bunch of things. Possibly hellllloooooooooo NFL supplemental draft next year? I doubt he'd get drafted. Possible tryout player? More than likely. I see no team willing to spend big money till you can put Duron and consistent in the same sentence with the word football.

He's now going to become an example that parents can use about the value of education regardless of how many stars you have coming out of high school as a recruit. Nobody wants to grow up to be the shining example of what not to do. This is really sad. I hope he ends up doing something productive and learning from all this.
