    where to start?

    as far as hating them more now, no. I've tried not to revel in their situation w/Sandusky. Just doesn't feel right to gloat about such a horrible chain of events.

    I live in Youngstown (Boardman) which has ALOT of PSU fans, it's always in your face - not so much anymore...they seem to have a sense of entightlement..."no-names", "black-shoes", yada yada. I think as a whole, their just too stupid to know the difference.
    I thought Paterno long over stayed his time. Cardinal Mooney and Ursline High Schools have had alot of PSU players...Zordich, Clarke.
    Mooney/Boardman was a huge rivalry; kinda cooled w/division changes.
    The last years w/OSUvUM was pretty subdued, and PSU was a "bigger" game at times
    I'm distantly related to Zordich/Clarke's dad worked w/my brother = always shit-talk....just on, and on....maybe fellow bucknutters in my area can chime in.....I just hate 'em!

  • I understand. When I was a little shaver (I'm thinking about 6th grade) growing up in Toledo the kid across the street went to a Michigan game and fell in love with the team. All he could talk about was Michigan this and Michigan that. From that time on I hated Michigan and became a Bucks fan.
    Regarding PSU, I always kind of liked the fact that they didn't have names on the back of their jerseys and played a rock 'em/sock 'em defense with a very conservative offense. But I thought Joe Pa over-extended his stay by about ten years. When he ran down that official after the game and grabbed him, I thought he'd get in big trouble. He didn't. I guess the Big Ten thought his sh*t didn't stick or something.
    Now that Joe is gone I think Penn state fans will find out how little he real did coach his last few years. It's like the opposite of OSU. Last year, we discovered how much Tress really coached his team. I'll be surprised if PSU misses Joe at all on the field.

    no to mention Gossamer, or whatever the red headed coach's name is. always hated him and he ended up showing his true color too!

    Jimmy— great story about how you came to love the Bucks. I grew up in Toledo too, lots of Weasel and Domers there. Ann Arbor's a stone's throw from Toledo and South Bend is closer than Cbus. I also went to scUM game at the Outhouse with my dad and his friends from -ichigan, maybe also when I was in 6th grade, and came back loving the Bucks even more. Man, did that place reek.
