Absolutely ! Underage drinking is illegal......Is Meyer gonna test them for alcohol and kick them off the team ?

Like someone else said above me..... what's the big deal if the kids are taking care of business in the classroom and football related responsibilities ? I guess these kids could be like Rey Malaluga in his USC days, addicted to vicodin and passing out in the airport. Hey, as long as it's legal.....right ?

Not everyone smokes Weed just to get "high".....same as alcohol, it can numb the pain. Weed has legitimate medicinal purposes, those that have never smoked it and are against it, will never know.

I have chronic back pain and it's either smoke a natural plant that is not addictive or get hooked on engineered drugs...... the drug manufacturers' would love for me to keep going back to the Dr. for a Vicodin prescription every month. They can't make any money off of me smoking weed, another BIG reason that marijuana is still illegal !

Glad to hear that. I also hear murder is worse than rape so let's make rape legal. Key word on smoking pot is "ILLEGAL".

I'm cool with whoever it is but it has to be a repeat offender. There is protocol when it comes to drug abuse. Counseling, drug awareness programs etc. Trust me the Honey Badger didn't get kicked out for smoking pot one time. There was a process. So don't be surprised if he failed a test when he reported to camp and was put on notice.

Smoking marijuana is harmless and it has no effect on student athletes in the class room or performance on the field unless they are doing it right before class/practice. It has various medicinal properties and is much healthier than drinking. It should be legal. That being said, it's not and if you are representing the Ohio State University, you need to be following the rules. We are on probation, and although there is no such thing as a "clean program" tOSU should be doing their best to come damn near close.

I smoke nearly everyday. It does not affect my life as a student, and nor my physical well being. However it is still illegal. And until it isn't, members on our football team should not be using.

Me neither, which is why I prefaced it by saying he could be talking about anything. Still, at the risk of reading between the lines, it suggests that something was going on in his life on Monday but since I posted that a few minutes ago, a new tweet came over from a friend of his from Lakeland asking if he was coming home for Christmas. If he'd left the team, I'd assume a) his friends would know that, b) he'd already be home, and c) there'd be a ton of tweets from his friends and followers offering him encouragement.
