Idiot PSU fans...

Here's another thread from the Audibles board about OSU fans being nervous and jealous of the O'Brien hire. There's several comments saying that his coaching staff will be better than ours and that we're afraid of PSU dominating us like they usually do (WTF?). Then we get to the usual comments about us being on probation and going 6-7 this year. Looks like they already forgot about our total dominance of the Big 10 up to this year.

Does anyone know a psychiatrist? I think we should send them over there to see what the hell is wrong with those people.

If I was a State Penn fan, I think I would be more worried about the NCAA kicking them out before the B1G. And I definitely wouldn't be pounding my chest about some "crook" players that sold their own stuff, or we'll be just as "dominant" as before. The appearance of the word dominant on the PSU level really has nothing to do with football. But realistically Penn State is a good school for the B1G, they just have some really messed up fans

If this is the kind of dominance that Perv State wants to return to, then we can all hope that they return to "dominance":

From Nick Horvath of the Harrisburg Patriot News..

"Since the 2005 season ended, Penn State owns a 1-10 record vs top 10 teams and is 2-18 vs opponents ranked in the top 25. In sum, it hasn't belonged on the same back porch as the big dogs"....

quit with the facts kid columbus, psu fans will have none of that. they rule college football and that is the end of that.

  • here's a new one...

"Wow, the media is going to be going salivating over this game all week. Bill O'Brien is going to get a lot of coverage. If New England pulls off the win, and they'll be heavily favored, it's really going to be great for PSU. I know, this isn't exactly a major discovery on my part....just excited about it."

Is OBrien bringing Tom Brady with him or something?

Indiana never systematically covered up a pedophile and their fans aren't insane like Penn State's are. (Actually does Indiana football have fans?)

And I wasn't serious about PSU actually being kicked out of the conference because they have crazy fans, that would be ridiculous. The insanity of their fans does deserve some hyperbole though IMO.

They don't have many fans. Most of them are in Assembly Hall, I think.

Oops. My bad. What I meant to say was, PSU is only 1-10 against top 10 teams since 2005 because they are so dominant that their offense and defense is ranked separately. The record of 1-10 is their nationally ranked defense beating their nationally ranked offense. In practice. Clearly, they destroyed ranked teams from outside Happy Valley.

it's crazy. i don't see what's so hard for these guys to understand.

does the ncaa have jurisdiction to go to state college and handcuff sandusky? no. but here's the problem. OSU has taken 2 recruits in SPence and Schutt since this happened. therefore, it's safe to say that PSU would have lost some recruits way back in 2002-2003 if this was not covered up. but they did cover it up to protect PSU, the brand, the name, etc... and continued to get recruits who may otherwise not have gone there...recruits who helped them win games the past 9 years. THAT'S where the NCAA has jurisdiction.

    Without a doubt!

  • Wouldnt be the first conspiracy at PSU! These people at PSU are pretty messed up (tired of using delusional), but they are whack jobs really. I work at a large manufacturing company about 90 mins from PSU toward Pittsburgh. These people insist that this had nothing to do with the football program??? Ok, hmmmm...it happened in your football facility, done by your legendary defensive genius who engineered your two national titles, covered up by the head coach who only insisted that the guy leave the program, and didnt even ban him from the facilities, which allowed him to continue what he was doing through 2002, when another football coach witnessed the incident in the shower, and reported to athletic director and president. Nothing to do with the football program??? If this isn't lack of insititutional control I dont know what is. Yet they are upset about not having a coach for 2 months, upset about how Joe was treated, upset about who they eventually did hire. I told one of my co-workers (I work with a bunch of these delusional people unfortunately), that you guys cant be upset. You are fortunate that anyone even wants the job. I have never seen anything like it. Psychologically, its devastating to them and they cannot put their arms around the thought that someone who was like their father, perfection in their eyes, whom they really treated as a god there, would have been a party to something like this, or at least to hiding it. Thats the issue for them. In fairness, I dont know what I would do, but this wouldnt happen at OSU. We would never allow one person to run the entire football program and basically, the campus as Joe did. Especially if he wasnt winning. Any coach at OSU would have either left the program or been forced out 15 - 20 yrs ago and certainly after he had three straight losing seasons like Joe did in the last decade. I get how difficult it must be for them to face up to it, but at least shut your mouth and show some humility!

  • All anyone needs to know about their fanbase is that they were convinced they were getting a big name like Miles or Saban. Why? Because anonymous people on the internet with names like Laschout and Sekrah said so.

  • Awhile ago I was watching what I thought was a rally of PSU fans showing support for Joe Pa and PSU football. I later realized it was an episode of "the Walking Dead".

  • The only thing that scares me about PSU, is that if I travel to an away game that I might get groped.
