    Well, I guess I don't have any proof Little Miss Sunshine. But do you have any proof he is? It's called an opinion, and a reasonable one at that I'd say given how we've played this year. We'll be lucky to play Wiscy within 10 points, and PSU could well beat us too. If we go 8-4, I'll be pleasnatly surprised. Not that that will help Luke out.

  • Can we please stop with these recycled posts? If Fickell wins out? Come on! We all love Fickell and wish him well, but he is not the man for this program right now. End of discussion. This is a top 5 program that needs to start acting like one. Can we just let the season play out and see where it takes us? Our search is going to be a national search and hopefully we get the right guy. We all hope the successful candidate has some Ohio ties and can recruit like a madman.

    I just don't think that anyone really knows what is going to happen at this point. The games haven't even been played yet. Had we rolled up Nebraska like we started out doing and ran the table, I see no reason why we could beat everyone else on the schedule and have a chance at a BCS game, and in that case he should get the job I would based on his ability to rally the team and get them winning. I doubt we win out but you never know what will happen until the games are played. I didnt expect us to even score against Nebraska lol...

  • I have to agree that this is a bit like beating a dead horse, which is something I'm usually up for.

    Perhaps a better topic might be to look at then flip side and speculate what might happen to Fickell if he doesn't get the HC job: Does Meyer retain him as DC? Why or why not? Does he go somewhere else as an HC, like a MAC school where he can sharpen his teeth? Or does he go somewhere as a DC?
