Not sure "we" did anything. I watched because I have three very passionate "Bama" friends. I think the country has low amperage (and should) over any rehash of a conference game. If not for my friends, I too would have not watched. That being said, to have missed that game, and the magnificent coaching of Saban and the ferocity of the Alabama "D", would be sad. I have not seen a performance (total domination) like that since the Steelers "D" in the 70's. Beating Les Miles was poetic, in the din of that cajun rowdy crowd...

absolutely, money drives this engine so don't kid yourself. But, I'm sure the head honchos at BCS thought that if one SEC team was a money maker just think of what TWO SEC teams could do. Well, they got their answer last night. By the time their projections came to light, it was too late to do anything about it. I'm sure the local advertisers in Louisiana and Alabama were grateful though. Glad I didn't watch and it looks as though I had a lot of company. Go Bucks!!

I watched the Bachelor as well, but I can justify it since I was boycotting. The man card is still intact.

that just tells you many TV's are in Alabama and Louisina........maybe ESPN will finally get that not many in the SEC area don't watch TV's, there out in the swamp lookin for gators or wild fricken pigs......

This is great in many regards.
One because it shows that America as a whole (with the exception of Lousiana, Alabama and some other southern states) have grown weary with the SEC favoritism.
This is the greatest rebuke we could send to the BCS, the SEC and ESPN.

What I do not understand (bad word I do actually understand the ESPiN) is how the SEC is automatically handed the torch as the best conference when the Big 12 had a better record?
