    Think of the one we're not using this year as if it is another senior who won't be around next year.

    Otherwise, 81 this year-15 seniors=66 returnees...66 returnees+16 recruits=82 on scholarship in 2013.

    We are at 81 now excluding the graduating seniors and including all the incoming freshmen. This means 81 on the roster during the season. We will then have 15 seniors graduate next year which will leave us with 16 to give for the 2013 class. We will likely have 2 to 4 more than that as well due to attrition and early NFL departures.

  • I trust Withers on this recruit. He developed some great DL and LBers at NC. Guy has a great ability to find kids who excel.

    I'm sure if you have good football knowledge then you know that if you can't get good pressure from a front four then you can man coverage and bump on the line with your corners allowing your safeties to double deep. If a defensive line can get pressure on a QB then you only need to cover for about 3-5 seconds. Linebackers and corners are key on a defense but there is nothing more important than pressure on a QB. If you don't already realize this then watch OSU play defense you'll quickly understand the stocking of the defensive line.
