To be honest, yes. Although you do provide more comedy, Iowa provides what I am looking for more than you. My opinion is that Iowa gives the best analysis of any poster here.

Hear what stuff Tnutbuster? Truth? I am a helluva lot more civil, then most #uckeye fans that make ridiculous attempts to post something actually logical on UM boards (maisenbrew). Look at your #uckeye families worthless, elementary, responses like (GABuckgrad), whom obviously got his degree in non-intelligence at tUniv of Phoenix @ Columbus. Please....

One of the huge things that stands out to me as well is how bad a decision it was for Minnesota to fire Glen Mason. In 2004, when the Media was all over Ronnie Brown and Cadillac Williams as being "the best backfield in history", Bama held them to under 100 yards while Maroney and Barber III racked up 300 on them in the bowl game......

Yes, absolutely. Georgia as well as Tennessee would be perfect opponents for us. These are both 2nd tier SEC teams that are beatable that would help give us some confidence going against one of the top SEC teams in the playoffs. The only teams worth scheduling out of the PAC are USC and Oregon.
It appears very likely that with the new playoff format, we will have to get through two SEC teams to win a NC. This doesn't appear likely for TOSU, Texas, OK, USC, or anybody else out there right now.
There is no question that if we are being objective, the only conclusion is that the SEC is head and shoulders above every other conference right now. This has been true for a number of years, but the gap has grown over the last couple decades. The only way to reverse it is to play these teams in the regular season.

No doubt about it. In fact prior to our win over Arkansas in the Sugar Bowl, the last SEC school we had beaten was LSU back in '88. We tied them the year before at their place and should've won had it not been for that damn missed field goal which led to a tied final score. But the interesting thing is that that LSU team in '88 was favored against us for they came in here ranked in the top 10. Our wins vs Kentucky came during the regular season but that was nearly 80 years ago. Same goes for Vanderbilt whom we likewise haven't played since the 1930s.
My point is that we can't continue running away from the mammoth in our living room. We're going to have to take it on one way or the other. As soon as this deal with the Pac-12 fell apart, UGA and Tennessee should've been placed back on our schedule for the home and home. Va Tech and Oklahoma are still a go but how ironic is it that the only marquee matchups that were taken off were the ones vs the SEC?
Practice and repetition makes perfect and the more we play them, the more familiar we become and the more we play them when nothing's at stake, the more apt and prepared we'll be when having to face them on the big stage. Now it shouldn't be that way when Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State and Iowa have winning records vs the SEC whether during the preseason or in a bowl game. What's our excuse then I guess is the question we should be asking ourselves.

I know. Thats the way it has to be here at 247 with all the other teams. The mods always have to throw a blanket on the flames. Otherwise, a poster like me would go to the scUM board looking for this DICKY, get kicked off their board, come here and make a thread that I was kicked off of scUM Then some posters would retaliate. I think this is how they want it. Get rid of the trolls before it becomes a problem. This is just my opinion but I have been kicked off of a few, or more, boards due to similar circumstances.
