sounds like the officials announcement is still weeks away since the job has not yet been advertised by the admin.
If it's happening right now, I am guessing we'd know unofficially in the next week or so.
Re: Lucky, if Luke is retained as DC, does that make anyone else nervous?

FWIW, insiders on both Scout and Bucknuts are saying this thing is close to consummation.

anybody have any link or info about the laws requiring when and how long a position has to be posted for a head coach at a public university? i have heard things, but wanted some facts

I have no problem with Fickell as a DC.
This Urban news needs to be reported soon though because I'm sick of the rumors, lol.

not sure what you mean but what im truly starting to believe(and this is in my screwed up brain) is that fickell knew what he was doing this season. he was taking the bullet for everyone knowing he wasnt ready to be the head coach but would be retained somehow.
also another FWIW, my guy that i mention on here a lot works for rivals osu grad, said that kirk herbstreit and spielman have played a huge part in getting meyer. again i will not believe a damn thing until it's signed and delivered but im just passing along anything i know

Apparently UM was/is staying at Coach Bruce's house while he is taking care of his dad's funeral. Also, it was reported that the BoT went to Bruce's house and had brunch with UM. This, all according to TOS.

his dad died on Friday. Meyer waited until Tuesday evening to fly to columbus? My guess is he was already buried by then. also, I think all that stuff was taking place in Cincy.
