What will be interesting is if Meyer comes out and denies these reports himself today or tomorrow. If he does, hopefully he is just temporarily denying it to get everyone to calm down for now.
I wonder if College Gameday will try to give interview him about these reports/rumors again during their broadcast.

He'll definitely deny it or ask his colleagues not to bring it up for a number of reasons, not least of which are to respect Fickell and the "official" search process. Hopefully we will get some confirmation from elsewhere Buckeye Nation before the announcement.

The question now is, what if we do get a postseason ban? Then does Meyer actually sign the contract or does the deal fall apart?

It just honestly makes no sense he leaves a school on top of college football because of heart problems only to go coach another team even if it is a team he's always wanted to coach. If this is true I may go crazy with excitement but I'm still going to wait and see before I get all giddy.

this i know: if all the reports come true, and urban is our next head coach, we just pulled the biggest f*ck you to everyone in college football and the big ten. we lose one of the top 3 coaches in college football, everyone said he's a sleaze ball and needs to go, and we replace him with...a top 2 coach in college football. again i will believe nothing until it's signed and sealed and espn's heads are exploding over it

Who wants small football players so he can run his crappy spread offense? Damn you Buckeye fans who were persistent in wanting this man as our head coach. Damn you!!! OSU has a pro Style offense that works, they just need the right offensive head coach. Urban is a Spread offense that doesn't help the QB grow at all. Imagine him using Miller on scrambles for most of this career and snapping the ball from shotgun most of the game. Kidding me? UGH!!

Not to be Debbie Downer but I say no way until this NCAA crap is over and that would be for any coach.
I will say this I sat by a starting players father last night on the plane home and his son was recruited by Urban and he said he did not like Urban, which everyone has opinions ( and by the way I am not making this up, it really happened)
