Yes, Florida and most of the SEC don't have the tradition of the Big Ten but you were implying that Florida was a flash in the pan that will go back to its pre-1990s status as a nobody and I don't think that's going to happen. Michigan fans like to yell about ancient wins to claim superiority and that's what you were trying to do, claim our tradition as trumping Florida's recent success and most people don't care much about that. I'm sure we'll always have more tradition than Florida and that's great, but deriding them because they don't have the tradition we do and trying to demean their recent success with it won't fly.

OSU has WAY more tradition than Florida, but Florida does have plenty of success in the past few years and what I'm saying is that trying to bring them down with their lack of tradition when they've won 3 NCs to our 1 and beat us head to head twice is a weak argument. Just because this is an OSU board doesn't give us an excuse to make absurd arguments.

I'm not defending anyone. As a matter of fact I really haven't paid much attention to what you ladies are arguing about. I was just saying that article sounds like typical from that source. All they do is try to fire people up against us.

If you notice, the only reason I chimed in on this thread was because that Orlando newspaper does nothing but stir up crap for tOSU. They were all over the tatoo thing, anything Tressel, Meyer being hired here, and now since people down there are calming down, trying to keep the fire kindled. I was just saying that I have noticed many Gators have calmed down and are accepting that he left, went home, and still gave them 2 NC's. That's where that article came from, getting people all pissed again. That's why I think it has no merit. In the past year or so, it's gotten very hard for me to feel any different about that shady media source. And yes it is all Gator homer.

So anyways, I here stuff mostly because my wife still has contact with a lot of those Gator people, and also looks at some message boards. Good enough. But as I mentioned in an earlier post. She has been reformed. She actually has turned into a huge Buckeye fan over the years. I really didn't do it, she just thinks its amazing how people here live and die Buckeye. And she has become a part of that now. Better have!!!
