Not for one second will I believe that all this PSU
punishment is anything other than killing the Paterno program and legacy. Every since PSU went undefeated two years in a row in 68'and 69', Paterno has been hated by most football programs around the country. He was an upstart coach who wasn't supposed to be beating teams who for years have long declared themselves the gods of college football.

Big ten leadership has also never given Paterno the benefit of a doubt in anything. They hated his ability to recruit players away from their programs. They hated his ability to run a program without incurring any ncaa violations.
It's been a crescendo of hate for 50 plus years. Now they found a reason to finally demolish his grand experiment. Forget that there is still no evidence to support any of the allegations. Forget that he is dead and can't defend himself. Forget that he ever lived for that matter. To think that all this punishment is other than a grand opportunity to defame Paterno, means one has been living in a cave in the wilderness. I will never ever believe otherwise as my memory of those who have tried to blast PSU and Paterno(espn especially) since I've been attending PSU game (1968), will never be erased from my memory. All becaue he was a better coach and better person than they were.

They hated his success. Just hated it.

The question of who has the most delusional fan base has been answered loud and clear. This is taking "delusional" to a whole new level. At one time, I had some respect for them, now I just look at the PSU fan base like the crazy old lady down the street living with 117 cats.

Wow! This gets my vote for the most delusional thought.

  • @jrgdds...great example of the lunacy in HV. The icing on the cake is that the clown supporting Sandusky is a 5* poster.
