  • How many think if RR was still the coach at TSUN they would have went undefeated this year? I do.
The only thing that was holding RR back was his defense. TSUN fans are really in denial, RR had that offense hitting on all cylinders and it actually took a step back this year in my opinion and if it wasnt for Hokie putting denard back in the spread offense they would have been in the bottom half of the BIG TEN this year.
I truly feel the defense would have been the same this year for RR as it was for Mattison because the only changes was scheme and they blitz more, but also the defense had alot of returning players this year that had game experience coming into this season.

Mark my words TSUN will be in trouble when they change that offense and can not recruit OHIO to their liking.

  • Michigan is already in trouble. Their delusional fans can drink the kool aid all they want, but there is no getting around the fact that their weak schedule is what provided them 10 wins this season. 8 home games, no Wisky or PSU and OSU with our problems this year means that they looked way better than they are.

Yep! and I can not wait to see us crush them in The Shoe AND the following week in the B10 Championship next year.

The eason why they are 10-2 is because the defense is alot better than they were last year.

What would D-Rod do this year to improve his stupid ass defense that he didnt do the last 3 years?

  • MU is likely to get blown out by possibly high powered Houston if they meet in the Sugar Bowl. Wonder what they'll say after beaten by the Conference USA.

Houston would score 60 on em...but I doubt either team is in the Sugar Bowl

Michigan's defense looks a lot better because they incorporated a pro style offense. Which, in turns, gives their defense a breather.

Not to mention, they now have a coach that actually cares about defense and recruited guys on that side of the ball. Along with an experienced D-cordinator with success on the college level.

Rodriguez never cared at West Virginia, Michigan and won't care at Arizona. However, Arizona is a better fit as there isn't much defense played and frankly Arizona has never been a football school.

Much less has fielded a football team

  • Rich Rods defenses at WVU were actually much better than he was able to put on the field at Michigan University. That WVU defense he had his final year in Morgantown played very well against a good Oklahoma offense in a BCS bowl victory when Bill Stewart coached them in the bowl game.

  • A 3-3-5 defense is a bunch more affective in the big east than it is in the big ten. Sure you see the nickle more then ever, but you have to still recruit for the 4-3. And on top of that I dont think he could get the quality of players you need to run the 3-3-5 up north.
