One more thing too...This idiot is making these comments from a noteworthy position in a major university with a prominent team. I'm sure there's a percentage of the student body who are gay. Not too bright IMO, I'd walk his discriminatory ass right out the door. I'm sure he as an African American doesn't like to be discriminated against but it's ok for him to do so since he does it under the fallacy of religious beliefs.

How people can get so worked up over sex/race/religion is beyond me. If you work, make a contribution to society, don't leach off your friends/family/neighbors, are good to people, tolerate differing peoples, pay your taxes (that excludes so many corporations these days), you're fine in my book. This does not apply to PSU fans however

and got 3 million hits. I'm sure there all not true, but you are living in a bubble if you think nobody gets fired or discriminated against for being gay. I hear all the time guys calling someone else a fag or queer as an insult. I work in law enforcement and hear gay slurs regularly but could probably count the number of racial slurs on one hand.

I hear the argument that race in something you are born with but sexual orientation is something you choose. I certainly don't remember sitting down around age 12 and deciding to like chicks, it just happens (or doesn't). Gay people are who they are. Do they make me a uncomfortable at times? Sure, but so do black people, and Hispanics, hell, even women. I grew up in rural Ohio, so of course I'm most comfortable around people like me, but just because someone is different doesn't mean they should be discriminated against or bullied or mistreated.

Just my 2 cents.
