So the Nash addition is a good one but Allen isn't because he is old? You do realize Nash is like 39 right he doesn't even play a lot of minutes these days. The lakers will face the same thing the heat did their first season which is a really really below talent bench. Plus I don see Howard signing an extension with a 35 year old Kobe and 39 year old Nash. OH and OKC matches up pretty good with the lakers Ibaka and Perkins can detain Howard.

There is a guy by the name of Lebron James who is the best basketball player on the planet. Who just won his first championship, and got a huge burden off his back. He is playing the best basketball in the NBA. And he disagrees with this thread. And also The Heat's upgrades this off season were the richer getting richer. Lakers wont win the ship.

While the dude above me is licking Ledouche's cock, Howard in the paint will pose issues for the Heat offense and LeDouche playing near the basket.
Add in Nash, and the Lakers are significantly better.
Ray Allen is old, his addition isn't much.

i don't know, the Jamison addition could also really help the Lakers. What I do know is that the Orlando Magic franchise is a joke of an organization. They let Shaq go to the Lakers, and now they get rid of Dwight Howard without making the Lakers get rid of Gasol. terrible negotiators.

You took Lebron leaving Cleveland that personal? It's not that serious. Name a player who's better, or playing better than Lebron right now? I wont hold my breath while you think of a player because there isnt one. So while you're throwing out insults because I can see objectivily that The Miami Heat are still the team to beat, you are so bitter that someone can appreciate the Talent that Lebron James has.
5th grade insults from you aside, while you say LA is better, who is going to help gel this talented team (LA)? Coach Mike Brown? LOL. Yes, he has a very serious resume for handling talented teams.
While Dhoward is an upgrade on the defensive end of the floor, he does not pose a bigger threat than Bynum on the offensive end. And you do realize that Pau and Bynum was a good force down low, but Kobe is too big of a shoot first player to realize he could of used both those big men to help win a 6th championship.

We still aren't past the Ledouche stuff? I agree this is huge for the Lakeshow but the Heat are still favorites in my opinion. Kobe is a great player top 10 in the league for sure but his game has definitely changed, and isn't quite as dynamic as he used to be. Has everyone already forgot how lost the Heat were last year, Although Kobe is a much greater leader than Wade was, they are still going to go through the same growing pains that the Heat had to go through. Ray is old, and it's debatable how much his addition really will help the team. The Heat already have 3 or 4 guys that play the same style that Allen plays, We'll see, just glad the Dwight drama is over.

I've been past it, but I don't have to like, cheer or compliment him.
He quit here, that's the memory we have of him. It is what it is.
You can have espin tell you how to worship him, I'm under no such obligation.
The direction of this league is beyond disappointing. I can't see how the current business model is sustainable over time. Eventually people will get fed up with these players and their antics. If not, you'll have 4 good teams and the rest will be feeder programs.

hahahahaha, Any Cavs fan would debunk this right away, Jamison is worthless. He filled the stat sheet decently when Cle. has no talent, but when he's on the same floor as kobe, dwight, pau, and nash, he's not going to be anything more than a glorified spot up shooter, at which he is marginal at best.

I agree with everything you say here, I just think it's unneccessary to call him names anymore, I went through my LeBron bashing stage as well, and it's healthy to. He took a city hostage and stabbed them in the back. Cleveland will never forget, and maybe shouldn't even forgive that, but it's time to move on and support the guys we have now.

The NBA has always been a 4 team league but it is at an all time disaster level now. If it keeps going on at this level the NBA won't be around anymore because whether they want to admit it or not the small market teams are what keeps the league afloat. Nobody wants to watch a league where there are only 4 competitive teams.
