Chicken with homemade buffalo sauce...Dont know how homemade it is if all I do is add butter to Hot sauce so semi-homemade?

Im in the suburbs. There are alot of good restaurants all over Greater Cleveland. I usually cook every night. The wife wanted Chinese tonight so I picked it up on the way home. For the most part we go to restaurants on the weekends................I could live on pizza. I like the mom and pop type pizza shops. Most of the pizza shops by my house are franchises though, and Im not that big of a fan.

I made my wife and I Nabeyaki Udon from scratch.* That's Udon noodles, Spinich,scallions, Poached egg, dark meat chicken, and fish cake in Hon Dashi (Kelp and Bonito) broth seasoned with a little sugar, Mirin wine, sake, soy sauce cooked in a cast Iron pot seasoned with Japanese spicy red pepper to taste. It may sound strange but its good!
*My wife is Asian and can't cook Asian food so oddly enough I have to cook the Asian dishes around here.
