  • I am no lawyer, but if this continues I wonder if OSU's legal team would have a ground to stand on for some type of civil suit, especially if OSU is able to show the court how ESPN has not went after any other school with the same verocity as they have OSU? I do not think that it could be slander/defimation because it appears that ESPN is not making this stuff up, but again I am not a lawyer, so I do not know.

We may disagree on issues, but at the end of the day we are all Americans - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSJoZiB-UGY&ob=av2e

I hear ya! I'm no attorney either. I do know OSU would have to prove malice against the program. That is pretty difficult to do even when it is obvious. If E$PeeIN has run any other similar stories on other schools, that may prove by law they are absence of malice. Again, I'm no attorney, but I know malice is awful hard to prove. The media knows this too!

  • Not saying that none of this is true but ESPN's OTL is a one sided piece of shit. They tell their twisted side of a story to try manipulate the reader / viewer.

First, we saw the tOSU OTLs in 2011 that proved to start a bunch of false leads, nothing was ever verified if I am not mistaken. There was one maybe a month ago about UFC underpaying fighters....they showed bits and pieces of the interview and only made a case against the UFC. UFC recorded the entire interview and released it after ESPN released their OTL...it definitely exposes OTL for what it is. The full interview is below, I am not sure where you can find the ESPN OTL piece if you didnt see it.

I am just saying that OTL likely is not portraying the entire story only the manipulated side they want you to hear to get attention.

ESPN held on the Bernie Fine tapes for over 10 years. Wonder how many kids were harmed by them being selective on what they report? ESPN is a sham

That still makes me wanna vomit. That network should be shut down for that alone.

Secondly, has ESuckPN ever sued another University to get records they feel they are entitled to? Not that I'm aware of. Like I've said before, ESPN is the slut of the media world.
