One week down at Camp Meyer

There were two players who captured my attention while observing practice. The first is freshman wide receiver Michael Thomas.
The other player who stood out to me was sophomore cornerback Doran Grant.

Great read! I hope there are more "playmakers" on the team that were overlooked by the last regime that will step-up and make a name for themselves. Competition is great!!!

Great to hear Thomas is doing good. Kid was a Hugh recruit a few years ago.

Crazy idea, but maybe a fast, quick, and athletic guy like Doran Grant could shift to offense and play reciever ala Ted Ginn.
I'm hoping Brown can improve his hands this season, but this probably isn't going to get any easier with the new offense as he will be going over the middle even more. He's going to have to learn to look the ball in and get under the hit when necessary. This isn't easy, Dane S. got blown up numerous times early in his career and I never thought he would end up being as great as he was for us.
