While I can't understand anyone ever wanting to go to a raging dumpster fire like Pedophile State, the one thing in the corner of a kid like this is he knows he will have absolutely zero competition for the QB position. I mean who's going to compete with him? Matt McGroin? pffft.

It's funny how Penn Staters see this single, so-so commitment as a sign that their recruiting woes are behind them and that Penn State is back. Those comments are pretty hilarious.

Having worked in Pa. for quite a few years and dealing with some of these half wits (no offense all you half wits) I have no doubt many of them have spent wayyy too much time picking up soap.

He's not far behind that in Rivals either.
It's a good commitment for them and clearly he got sold on the O'Brian-Brady connection. If O'Brian is as good of a QB guru as half of State College thinks he is than it'll be a good commitment for the kid. But I expect they will have a tougher time getting top 150 kids at other positions.

Bottom line is schools like UM, MSU, & tOSU needs PSU to be good. The better the B1G is as a conference, the better for OSU.

Beg to differ 3yd. We don't need any of those schools to be good, just us. The B1G is not like the SEC where they're still rebelling against the north with their unified SEC chants, I could really care less. I guess there could be a time where I'd pull for a B1G school over a SEC school but who cares anyway.
As M Runner states, good B1G teams pull recruits away from here. UM being down the past few years has not saddened me one bit.

Honestly, it looks like a good get for PSU. I imagine that BO'B is going to bring something similar to the Patriots offense to PSU. After watching a little film on the guy the first thing I noticed was that he plays in a system that resembles that we will likely see from PSU next year, second was that this kid has a really good arm.
He might have had a chance to be a NFL prospect his senior year, if it wasn't going to be for Spence, Perkins, Washington, Marcus and Pittman.
