RB leaving OSU?

  • Boarding House today alluded to a running back leaving OSU? HOPEFULLY this is referring to Jamaal Berry but the other guy would HAVE to be Rod Smith. Stinks if it is Rod because if he could learn to hang onto the ball he may be pretty good and this would have to affect the recruitment of his little brother. Any premium members with access want to throw a bone to us non premium guys?

    I didn't read any mention of a RB transferring OUT of OSU, just one possibly transferring IN.

    It didn't talk about a running back transfering out, so don't worry about that. Was more on the rumors of a transfer in, but again It's all speculation at this point.

  • Sounds like Giovanni Bernard is the "potential" transfer in to Ohio State.

    Haven't heard anything about anyone leaving. If they did though Smith would be my guess -- Berry is already gone. Hopefully Smith sticks it out though. Will get a chance in Meyer's offense where the best players play.

    For me, it's not a budgetary issue. I spend way too much time on the free board as it is, and if I become a VIP and have access to all the inside dope, my wife could leave me and the really sad thing is I might not even notice. I am seriously thinking about giving up Bucknuts for Lent. It has become an obsession lately.

  • Even if Bernard weren't transferring in, just by sheer numbers somebody is gonna have to go, if not change positions. That makes six running backs on the roster if Bernard were to be declared eligible this season with Dunn, Ball, Hall, Smith, and Hyde. And we're recruiting at least 2 scatbacks for '13!

    Jamal Berry has been officially gone for a while now.........

    Only one i could imagine transferring would be Rod Smith......second would be Hyde but the job should be his to lose competing with Hall.....and the two Frosh

    Lent isn't about giving something up but rather doing something worth while.

    What I have done for the past 20 years is to provide for a couple of under privledged children a year--clothes, books, food and whatever else my wife and I could aford. A baseball bat and glove, toys or something that they would normally not get from anyone.

    I joined the VIP board with the hiring of Urban Meyer and because I am going to retire on March 30th. I can only play so much golf so I am doing it to stay out of my wife's hair. This way, I will spend time on the Buckeye site and not go shopping with her.

    Have a good lent and enjoy the free boards they are great.

    The Boarding House itself is worth 10 dollars. Not to mention that there are no trolls and most everyone actually wants to talk about Buckeye athletics. The staff here is the best in the business.

    Hall will be gone in 2013, and

    Hyde will be a Senior
    Smith will be a Junior
    Bernard Junior
    Dunn Soph
    Ball Soph or RS Fresh

    Recruits may redshirt
