As long as he doesn't pick Florida. That's the one team in this scenario I just don't want to see him on.
Sounds like it's Florida or Maryland, as people have been saying for days. With Maryland having by far the best shot.

Well, after seeing all the rumors, the announcement time and place changes, all the insiders saying different things, I think two things are abundantly clear:
• Diggs has either not been sure what he will decide or has been intentionally leaking stuff just to keep everybody on the edge of their seat, ie he's having fun with all the attention
• A lot of people are making a lot of stuff up and purporting to be insiders. I think some of the claims about him announcing at the bar on the campus of Maryland were probably made up.
Anyway, I at about 50/50 right now UF and OSU.

He scheduled a live televised announcement for tonight, then inexplicably cancelled it. He's supposedly said he's announcing at a UMD campus haunt--a minor doing it in a bar? Then tweats he had a dream about playing in the Swamp..."Contrary to what you hear I have not made a decision . A lot of people going be mad at me . But oh we'll gotta make the best decision for me." And an hour ago he tweated, "even my own city may be mad at me." I think this kid's been having the time of his life playing everyone from the beginning. I'm not sure that I'll 100% believe him when he actually announces his choice.
As far as I'm concerned, 6:00 p.m. today will arrive at exactly the same time it does every day. By then, I'll have a cold beer in my hand and I'll either tip it for Stefon Diggs coming to OSU or wish him well going somewhere else. Whatever he decides, I respect it's his life and his decision but in the scheme of my life, it's neither going to make or break my day.
The Buckeyes might be better with him; I know we'll somehow manage to survive without him.

If this kid does not want to be a Buckeye, then who cares? Kids that grow up dreaming to wear the S & G and want to be here, are the kids we want.......this is Meyer's philophsy also......tring to fit a kid in, when he's rather be somewhere else is not the style. A real Buckeye lover whould have announced by now to be sure he was in the fold.....let him go....

Don't worry--I'm not taking your statement literally. I get what you mean; in fact, I'd love to have a roster that's 95% Ohioans the way Texas's is 95% Texans. But Ohio isn't always going to produce the very best talent in the country and if we want to win NCs, we have to recruit outside the state, which means kids like Diggs who may not have thought about wearing the S&G until OSU contacted them.
As far as Diggs his concerned, we weren't even on his radar until Urban was hired, then we were off and then back on again so I think his decision has very little to do with OSU and a lot to do with Urban Meyer. The lure of playing for him has been too hard to resist; what may be lacking is his desire to come to OSU. Edsall and Locksley are good coaches, certainly nowhere near being in Urban's league but Ohio State isn't located in his backyard, either.
