Rod Smith got the message. You do not relax around new coach Urban Meyer. You do not play at half speed, do not give 80 percent effort, do not let your concentration wander.
“Coach Meyer is real intense,” Smith says. “He's real in tune to every little detail. He's something different that we haven't had since I've been here.”
“We want to get Ohio State football to where it should be, where it's been in the past,” Smith says. “Where we have a dominant offense, a dominant defense. Being an elite team in the nation.”

maybe sofla's wife would just be happy with a 'stiffer' Rod. a Rod that actually does get stood up at the line of scrimmage. A Rod that would plough through defenders and make it all the way to the 'endzone' without going down. A Rod that doesnt get fatigued and has to 'limp' his way back to the sideline.

Perhaps sofla's wife needs to suggest performance enhancing drugs. Then again who really wants a rod that has a penchant for the dropsies.
