Sample Wonderlic Test

  • Lets see what you guys can do. Set your timer for 5 minutes and see what you can score. I scored an honest 12 out of 15. I looked at the timer, it said 4:51 and I wrote in a guess on one question. Im interested to see what some of you can do.

    So, how do you score?

    Do you have what it takes to be an NFL player? Pay attention to Page 2's Closer Look because there will be a Wonderlic Test afterward.

  • yeah, by far 11 is the worst, especially if you don't know the trick to solving it quickly, which I don't...lol 14/15. Even if you just brain cramp and screw up 2 or 3 for no reason, you'd think 30 should be an obtainable goal for anyone who attended college.

    12 out of 15 3 minutes. Skipped 11 I am lazy like that. Let Morris Claiborne read 13
    and 15 to me so i was screwed from the start on those.

  • Solution for #11 in case you care and just for fun. A bit time consuming but guessing and checking might be faster than to log it out like below for a test like this..

    11. In printing an article of 48,000 words, a printer decides to use two sizes of type. Using the larger type, a printed page contains 1,800 words. Using smaller type, a page contains 2,400 words. The article is allotted 21 full pages in a magazine. How many pages must be in smaller type?

    X = number of small print pages
    Y = number of large print pages

    1) X + Y = 21

    2) 1800Y + 2400X = 48000

    Solve for X for equation 2

    2400X = 48000 - 1800Y

    X = 20 - 3/4Y

    Plug back into equation 1

    20 - 3/4Y + Y = 21

    1/4Y = 1

    Y = 1 *4/1

    Y = 4 (large print pages)
    X = 17 (small print pages)

    I took it about ten years ago. They told me then, don't spend too much time on one problem.

    Sorry Chad, I just think that this is too funny to ignore. You used "between you and I" when you and me was correct. What I thought made it funny was that you said, "who is smarter", right after that. LOL! For clarification....

    Between is a preposition, and in English, a preposition must be followed by an indirect object pronoun. Me is an indirect object pronoun, and I is a subject pronoun. Therefore, between has to be followed by me, not I.

  • got them all right, but I skipped 11 and 13 and went back to answer them. I took me 5:34 to do it. Those 2 questions are difficult to concentrate on when you have an extremely loud 5 and 2 year old in the room with you.
