Said he wasn't a pedophile but admitted to showering with boys, and touching their legs in a non-sexual way. That is borderline pedophile imo anyway, because thats just weird, not that I believe thats true anyway, but that still seems like pedophile behavior to me.

I can't fathom any lawyer wanting him to make any public statements at this point. They are going to have a hell of a time finding an impartial (and uninformed) jury at this point. Planting seeds to the contrary only gives more opportunities for the prosecution to challenge jurors for cause (just as the defense will already have).

The defense is going to want blank slates in my opinion.

This is the absolute worst case scenario for PSU. This is going to drag out for a long time, possibly a couple years.

I was of the impression that this guy would kill himself, the act of which would help the schoolove past this. Instead, he's digging in for the long hall.

Years ago I was in downtown St Charles Illinois walking up the steps of a hotel to attend a party. I heard somthing over my left shoulder and saw a guy beating up his girl friend. I ran over and beat the hell out of the guy and saved the girl. I had so much of his blood on me I had to go home and change. And I had a babe waiting for me at the party GDammit.

He was in a damned if you do or don't situation. If he attacked Sandusky he gets blackballed by Joe the legend Paterno and is out of coaching (remember he was just a grad assistant). Instead he does what is required from his job only, ie reporting it to his bosses, which there is no doubt he did, and he ends up getting destroyed by the media as a pussy. He'll have a really hard time getting a job again in coaching I believe.

"Well I did not mean to". If this guy gets off without some kind of revolutionary evidence to the contrary from what we have already seen/heard I have lost all faith in our justice and the jury of our peers trial system.

Our system mandates a presumption of innocence with the burden placed upon the State to provide evidence beyond a resonable doubt of guilt for the alleged crime.

You're presuming you know all the evidence, and you don't, please don't assume you do. If Sandusky is guilty he will be prosecuted.

We have the greatest legal system in the world; it is not perfect, but it provides an opportunity to a fair hearing, which you would not get anywhere else.

No I just used them as examples, I have many more but no one on this board would know what I was talking about. I was once thinking about being an attorney and used to love to sit in on court cases, so many times I seen cases get thrown out over bullshit and people get away with things. I decided I couldn't be a lawyer, I couldn't put someone in jail I felt was innocent and I couldn't defend someone who I thought was guilty, my conscious wouldn't let me.

You can hear and read the guilt in his voice and answers last night. This guy is guilty as guilty comes. His lawyer is messed up too, he got a 16 year old pregnant when he was 20-30 years older than her. Both are sickos

Or he can be thrown into general population like they did with Jeffrey Dahmer (sp?)

If he goes to prison (which he should) he's going to have to be kept away from general population because they'll beat him to death (like Dahmer).

Justice served in a not so civilized way.....not that that's a bad thing!

I'm not completely sure why this guy would admit to showering with boys. Why? That's just silly.....and weird.....and if that's all he did, he should be locked up anyway! I don't care who you are or for what reasons but that is not normal.

Anyone that would find this man not guilty should probably be locked up with him. Common sense people, common sense.
