Smith/NC2A presser today?

  • @ 330. Swirling rumor about Herron and Posey serving additional games for improper wages from summer job. Adams and Thomas will be back, but according to the buzz the other 2 may not. Legit? Don't know yet. I guess we'll find out later today.

    Sorry guys! But this is insane!! My question is "what in the HELL has Smith been doing for the past nine months?!?!?!?" If you guys don't get rid of Smith after this year, it will be the biggest mistake the university has made yet!

  • I am not sure how worried I am about this. Sounds like it is related to the additional 1 game suspension for Boom and Posey.

    But people seem to be freaking out on the insider board.

    I'll reserve judgement. $200-500 worth of extra benefits at a summer job still do not add up to LOIC in my mind.

    Look, Luke isn't going to get the fans behind him by winning, sad but true this year. Thus, if he wants to keep his job and show some backbone, he needs to just start kicking these idiots off the team. They are killing us.

    My high school football coach always preached the cliché, "There is no "I" in team." These guys that keep taking extra benefits are only thinking of themselves. Luke needs to set an example and get them the hell off the team.

    You could say we would miss Posey, but there haven't been many balls that our QBs throw that are catchable by anyone at this point, so would we really miss him the rest of the season? Herron is second team at best in my book.

    I'm so pissed if this is true.

    if this is true, im not even kidding just kick boom and posey off the team. human beings cannot be this stupid. it's scary to think these moronic jokes will be making millions of dollars with the iq of my freaking dog. sad sad year to be a buckeye. terrible football team, but unanimous #1 in terms of ignorant, stupid, and straight dumb. dumbest team in the land this year

    Why stop there. There has to be a thorough and deep cleansing. Starting with Gee, to Smith down through compliance through the coaches and again down to the damn waterboys. There should be a lot of job openings at Ohio State. THIS SHIT IS SO OLD!!!

    smith and gee should have been fired before tressel. gee should have been fired 10 minutes after his "i hope the coach doesnt fire me" if that's not the dumbest thing anyone has ever said who is rumored to be as "knowledgeable" as gee then i dont know what is. gee is a joke and frankly bad luck. the year after this clown tie wearing guy leave we win a national title, the year he returns we choke against florida. just saying...

    Just like General Shermans march to the sea, as he went through the south we need a cleaning on campus. I have never seen a school so self destruct and keep everyone in place, this is like the movie ground hogs day

    You aren't typically going to call a presser to announce an additional game or two for two players that had already been suspended for 5. Either there is more coming from the NCAA or both players are being dismissed from the team. I'm betting on A. at this point. I think there may be a revised NOA alleging LOIC or FTM. The presser can't be a good sign.

    I've been saying that for the last 9 months.

    It's time to clean this mess once and for all. If that means we get hit hard for a few years, that is OK with me.
