I posted this on the Blue Board. This really sucks for this kid. I mean, he stays an extra year in school, and loses millions.
I hope it works out for him.

sullinger proves again in sports: when you're projected as a top 5 pick, LEAVE! there's two results that happen when you return: you move up maybe one or two spots, or you drop like a rock. sullinger would have been picked last year between 3-5. this year he'll be picked between 17-30. that's a lot of money that he will never have back

I've said it before, but I really have difficulty seeing how Sully's game translates to the NBA. At 6'9, he will be a forward. He will need to be a jump shooter, slasher, and limited ball handler. I haven't seen him display any of these skills in college. In college, he plays with his back to the basket as a low post.
I love Sully, and hope he succeeds, but I have my doubts.

He has shown a pretty good shot. Doubt he will ever be a slasher, just not quick or explosive enough. I think he has also shown he can handle the ball some, I didn't think his passing was great this year but he was a really good passer his freshman year. I really think if he stays healthy he will be a very productive player, mostly because he is a great rebounder and will be pretty good at it in the NBA even with his physical limits. If he gets 48 mpg, even with his athletic ability he should get around 15 ppg/10rpg. Cut the minutes in half and 8 ppg/5 rpg is a solid role player. If BJ Mullens can start, so can Sully.
