    Charlton does not even start for his HS team and gets lost in games, he is soft. Chalrton is a soft taco, who looks like tarzan and plays like Jane. Considering OSU never wanted or offered him, and we are in on better national elite DE's, who cares. Charlton is all fluff based off his build and frame, he is a cream puff on the field. Where are the SEC offers, and teams like Oklahoma and USC for Chalrton, like Jaylon Smith, Courtney Love and Tim Kimbrough have that will probably all be OSU LB's for the 2013 class. OSU was never going to offer Chalrton, he is an overrated cream puff, that disappears in games and is soft. There is a reason Chalrton lacks offers from the nations elite like I listed for the LB's OSU will land for 2013, he is not that good despite recruiting overhype.

    Thank you, someone who knows what the hell they are talking about, the boys soft, they didn't want him before Meyer took over why in the hell would they want the marshmallow now!!!!

    It's their way! No matter what fact is presented to them on how their program has truly been nothing unusually special since the early 1930s, they always come back with, "Well, we've won more games than anyone else in College Football history!" That is true, just like fact they've won 1/2 NC since a majority of the nation has owned TV sets, let alone color sets! Even the Golden Gophers have more in that time frame.

  • You can have him. OSU has 5-6 DEs that are better than him. The kid would have never gotten an OSU offer.

  • Paranoid, your assessment would be FALSE! Young Charlton was a "buckeye fan" but was never recruited, therefore you go where you are being courted and actively recruited. I've coached this young man.... so I do know this as FACT!

  • This kid has a lot of development to go. He can be starter by his junior year, probably red shirt as a freshman. There is a very good upside but a lot of work to be done and at minimum 20 lbs of muscle needs put on. Could turn in to a really good player.

    Meyer's a great recruiter but you're setting yourself up for disappointment if you think he won't lose some of these battles. Several of the recent UM commits had OSU (and Alabama) offers, and Meyer just lost a recruiting battle with Maryland. That's how recruiting goes.

    Several? Just LTT to my knowledge. I don't think we had offered Fox yet either. Anybody have any numbers on this point??
