I hope you're not seriously comparing some kids selling their personal belongings in exchange for tattoos to a situation where recruits were being paid, given hookers, drugs, had abortions paid for, free trips to strip clubs, etc. over a period of YEARS.

I fully approve of TP selling his personal belongings to help his family financially. I fully approve of kids getting free tattoos, because they are kids, they don't get a lot of breaks in life, and this is a fun thing to do. I fully disapprove of the NCAA coming after kids because of the free tattoos.

Now, let's get back to basics: everyone on here has been to a strip club, including football players. I have, and so have you, Razorback. I bet you $1,000 some NCAA investigators themselves have been to strip clubs too. Some of us, but not necessarily all of us, even go as far as the VIP rooms, aka, the Boom-Boom rooms. Therefore, I fully approve of people like you & me, including football players, hitting strip clubs.

The other basics: people get abortions not just in the US, but also all over the world. Unlike guns, which are legal in very few countries but illegal in most countries, abortions is universally accepted. Therefore, I approve of abortions, but not guns.

Please note that at both OSU and Miami, there are no guns involved. Imagine if players and OSU and Miami were getting free guns & ammo instead of tattoos, strip clubs and what-not ..... If guns were invovled, the NCAA would go ka-putz!!

That's great, but while I intend no offense with the following statement, I don't really care what you personally approve of or not, and I think we're all in agreement that strip clubs are not illegal, abortions happen, and yada yada yada. What I hope you can agree with me and most people with common sense on is that some kids selling their personal possessions is significantly lesser of an incentive-based violation than is thousands of dollars in cash, strippers, prostitutes, drugs, tvs, and other monetary-based items.

I will simply re-state: I hope you're not comparing some kids selling their personal belongings in exchange for tattoos to a situation where recruits were being paid, given hookers, drugs, had abortions paid for, free trips to strip clubs, etc. over a period of YEARS.

  • If the NCAA wants to send a message to change the culture of what is going on in sports, Miami is the poster child. They have been the consistency of bad behavior for decades and everyone knows it. Kill it! The SEC will never be held accountable for its dirty little secrets even with all the finger pointing that goes on between them, but Miami did it blatantly with flashy Rap star and ponzy scheming douche bags. They never even tried to hide it.

They already gave miami players a game suspension....i think that shows the ncacrap is to big a p---- to actually stop this from spreading in the future with the apppropriate sanctions.....they r a joke......the BIG and PAC need to step up and tell them to f--- off the next time they try to discipline one of its members......until they show the miami and oregons', with their recruiting violations, they will not be tolerated.....those 2 conferences especially if go to 16 could throw some wrenches into that machine the ncacrap calls an office

  • Not really sure why I keep hearing of NCAA violations at "The U", but for some reason sanctions never really seem to follow. I guess the NCAA only sanctions OSU and USC, that seems fair!!
