What could you possibly be doing by, going around your yard with an artist brush and a can of liquid and touching dandelions? Are you fucking kidding me? They turn to cotton and disappear anyways. Are you trying to eliminate them for next year? WTF????

I hate dandelions and there's only one sure way to kill one. You pull out your old fashioned, fork-tongued digger that's remained unchanged for over 100 years, jab it into the ground, move it around to loosen the dirt around the root and then pull the entire mutherfucka out. I told my wife once that it's more satisfying than popping a big fat puss-filled zit. Grossed her out but she understood.

I use industrial grade grain vinegar and it kills them pretty good. Dandelion digger and pitchfork work just fine pulling up the root but most roots are 12 to 24 inches deep. Roundup works for weeds on concrete that about it, it is pretty weak to work in the yard. Best way to kill weeds on concrete is to light them up with a blowtorch.

I cannot wait for Meyer to put a can of whoopa$$ to all those punks who beat us last season. Jabba the Hoke is going feel a whole lot of pain.

Once again this very important thread has somehow fallen by the wayside. This is especially disconcerting considering the unprecedented board upheaval we are currently experiencing.

I want to preface this post by stating that I am one of the most laid back people on earth. It is almost impossible to "offend" me and you cannot possibly hurt my feelings. That holds true in real life, so it most certainly applies to the bullshit time wasting world of online anonymous internet message boards. I.e., there is virtually nothing that can happen in this virtual world that is going to get me bent out of shape. I personally use this as an excuse to work slack as much as possible, so the content of this site, whether informative, insightful, malicious, annoying, "trolling" for reactions, etc. is completely irrelevant to me. As an aside, I will give an honorable mention to our good friend Tornado Zandar who has admittedly, on several occasions, gotten under my skin enough to cause me to react. Congrats to him because I assure you that is a Herculean feat.

In any event, the recent banning of a poster (Sofla) does not, in itself, inflame me in any way, shape, or form. Some of his posts were amusing, most were innocuous, but surely none were purposely malicious. The fact that he was banned because some of you vaginas have such busy schedules that the modest amount of time it takes to sift through his bullshit infringed on your personal lives so much that you had to literally go crying to moderators stuns me. Again, not the banishment itself (which I feel is totally unwarranted, but I do not care about all that much), but the fact that there are MEN (purportedly) who actually start posts with titles that beckon the moderators to take action... absolutely blows my mind. When I was in kindergarten and I tattled, my father would whip me.

I guess what I'm saying (and I believe if ever there was a thread where this was appropriate, this is it) if you are amongst the whining masses calling for banishment, or starting threads (by the way, starting a thread like that takes way more time out of your busy schedules then simply ignoring the offending poster) to seek banishment... you are a huge fucking pussy. In fact, your vagina is so gaping that Evel Knievel is contemplating jumping over it on a rocket sled for his next stunt. I know he's dead, but I think he would come back to life to attempt such a daring feat. Some have suggested that it makes the board look bad to have so many worthless posts/threads on it. I think it looks worse to have unrepentant slack jawed faggots starting threads calling for banishments. I want to talk sports with men (and well informed women, if there are any around). I do not care to talk with bitches who get their panties twisted when their all important anonymous internet message board isn't run like Nazi Germany.

As I said, I don't get bent out of shape much. However, this current climate does bother me somewhat and makes me mad at some of the posters on this board. I believe that is now a protected interest and since I have a right to not be at all bothered, offended, or upset by other posts, those posters who support such board rigors should probably pull an Iowa and self-ban since not doing so would greatly affect the board integrity. Of course, I would never ask for banishment, because then I would be ashamed of myself as a man.

I agree 100 percent with nutz. my only question is "pulling an iowa" and self-ban a good thing or a bad thing? just in case i decide to do that or suggest someone else do that in the future.

The guys, for the most part that wanted Sofla gone had like 30 post in 15 months. I'm not judging by participation I'm just making a point. It's a free board and yes football should be the topic but there is nothing going on right now.

I'm on my phone, I can scroll down to topics that have been there for a week! It's not like Sofla was causing anyone to miss something important. Sofla has had great takes about the program and some bad ones but they were debatable. I viewed him as harmless and humorous ( at times ) I didn't want him banned. Still don't! I really hope Iowa is not gone! He makes this board good and the banter with him, Chad L ( Chud ) and Sofla made me laugh! I got on him about the hommers stuff but it's just a message board!! He was negative about 40 times and punters!

He is a Buckeye fan though! I just hope when the season rolls around that trolls from other sites get banned as well.
