I saw scUM fans talking about him yesterday on their board, said he just recently got bulked up to a 3* after 2 consecutive good camps.

They still can take another receiver in this class, considering York is only the second WR to commit. They had 2 WR commits in last years class and they didnt sign any in the 2011 class. however they did sign 5 in 2010. So i guess it just depends on the general need.. i cant see them saying no to treadwell though

Just saw this on ElevenWarriors posted today.

-Oklahoma State was in his school today
-Oregon was in his school today
-Said he maintains contact with OSU often, mainloy through facebook, phone calls, and emails when permitted
-Plans to visit OSU again in the near future, just not sure exactly when

Not much but hope you enjoyed the quick bit here and know Treadwell is still very interested in OSU."

Even if he does commit this weekend we still have a shot, last years class is a good reminder of this

If he's gone on multiple visits to scUM and none to TOSU, it's pretty clear what our chances are at this point.

I know he visited on april 9th and as stated above he wants to visit again. i do think hes all scUM though

Geez...tough crowd. I get a dv for asking a question about Treadwell actually taking a visit to OSU?

I remember a time on this board where people could actually hold a discussion w/o hiding beyone a dv...haha

Are there many other WRs offered right now? If one of those commits do they get the spot or do you think Hoke and Co hold a spot for Treadwell?..or make him a spot later if need be?

I'm pretty sure you guys will take another wideout. Without having a star receiver in the corps, Treadwell would be the best pick for you guys. Besides, passing on a top 50 player just bc someone else committed early would be a huge mistake

1. I can't see Treadwell feeling threatened by a couple 3-star recruits in Jaron Dukes and York. The book on both is solid but far from star quality due to lack of top-end speed.
2. Counting Marshall, we will still have more WR talent than they do so our roster's a bigger threat to keep Treadwell off the field than theirs is.
3. Michig@n may be leading the country in WR recruits with interesting names: Amara Darboh, Jehu Chesson and now Csont'e York. And all of them are 6-2 or taller.

That Ty comment is quite a stretch.

scUM can have Treadwell while OSU takes Foster and or Quick
